I thought I read somewhere that they were ditching Boxing Day fixtures altogether or have I dreamt that!!

Premier League aren’t playing Boxing Day this year but will be playing on the 27th which is a Satdee. I am certain that the EFL games are being played on Boxing Day apart from any they might move for TV I guess

Could do with a home match the opening day on the basis that I will be away on the following 2 Saturdays and want to minimise games I miss. For once I'll be praying Sky move us!

I appreciate it’s one for the football geeks, but I love fixture release day. Besides girlfriend, family and friends, my life revolves around watching Cov so it’s almost a year planner in some way. Even more geeky it reminds me of having the timetable at the beginning of secondary school year. Will I avoid double maths??? I appreciate I’m not doing much to dispel the virgin notion

Yeah literally this. I work weekends all over the country so I try and plan my gigs with where away games are (and make sure I only have local gigs for home games etc). Been waiting for tomorrow for a while

I picked up a tricky case of the crabs in Derby recently. I think it’ll be Derby. Must win.

There’s normally a fake set of fixtures doing the rounds by now on the socials, it’s only when some eagle eyed person notices someone like QPR are down to play twice on a certain Saturday that the penny drops!

That would surely only happen if the club had requested it and there's no way we can need to delay home games this season. Not been any events on the pitch and we've got a home friendly!

EFL fixtures released at noon.

Carabao Cup first round draw 4.30pm.

Something concrete to supplement the rumour mill.
