At home, first day, boxing day and final day. Opposition less important.

Not bothered about 1st game, just want to avoid midweek for Leicester and Blues and also for London away games.

I predict we will play the other 23 teams in the league twice, once at home and once away

Surely due a home fixture first game. The last 2 were away with Leicester and Stoke.

Leicester at home first game of the season. I want to watch the moment they realise they’re absolutely and completely fucked and their “Championship Tour” is going to be followed by a tour of even smaller shitholes next season.

The virgins will be buzzing. Never understood the excitement that surrounds fixture release day. Chill out, we play everyone twice.

This though.

I work for a firm with a large Leicestershire footprint and so speak to quite a few of them and I can assure you that they are already convinced that they are completely fucked.
I think they're being unrealistically pessimistic tobe honest.

Transfer windows, kit releases, do nothing for me.
But this virgin loves fixture release day.

I assume a firm with a large Leicestershire footprint means one which has six branches?

My brother was trying to convince me that because we were home last boxing day we would not be this season? Assume that was rubbish?

Who do we want, I would favour Blackburn away, massive away allocation 4000+ for a great atmosphere and a chance to start with a win.

Blackburn is a midweek fixture …..I think it’s written in stone now .
Preston away & let’s fill the away end with a sea of Skyblue ….. a great way to put another shite away record to bed

I don’t get particularly excited about fixture release day, however I would be excited by this.

The fan fare around either would be nauseating, especially as we’ll be the after thought. Davies, Morrison and McAnuff in the studio would be tragic.

However, absolutely shitting on their parade would be nice.

Not really to fussed, but rightly or wrongly I always fancy playing the better sides early, just think it’s good to play them before they hit their stride & gather momentum so Ipswich or Southampton home or away.

I think @Skyblueweeman sometimes gets a whiff of what they are before the day. Seem to remember him knowing it was Leicester first day a couple years ago.

I think he does through his job but its not that much earlier than the rest of us and if he told everybody he would arguably lose a lot of business. He did I remember though say we had an incredibly exciting first game away - he was right!
