Now, I could be incorrect here and IF I then please accept my apologies.
My understanding is at present, FFP has not kicked in and the funding is from the final quarter at the Ricoh which is help stem the losses SISU are experiencing plus other factors within their business.
Now, we are fast approaching the next quarter which Fishers forecast was 3,000 on average per game, we are at 50% of that forecast.
Although I myself hate Sisu, the FL,ALC,Council with a passion, unless we come to some sort of better organisation rather than this silly 40-50 people on a hill standing their freezing their tits off, come January we may see the likes of some of our more better assets, stripped away from the playing squad due to the FFP rules.
Sisu can cover the losses to a certain extent but my understanding is FFP is from income and if the income is not what is forecasted then we cannot continue with those more experienced / higher earners at the club.
This ultimately comes down to us the fans, as if we are not provided any income for what is essentially OUR CLUB then the young hungry energetic play we are seeing at the moment, may disintegrate which would be a crying shame.
I myself am in two minds of what to do, but that is my opinion.
I applaud those who have tried on the hill, but the real matter is, no one is listening, no one is taking note, a small column in a paper now and again is not worth the paper it is wrote on, unfortunately as much as I hate to say it, we are never going to be able to force matters, and return to Coventry unless someone wins the Euro Millions, everyone and I mean everyone never went the game ( this will never happen as proved already) or we cause havoc with thousands and thousands trying to get into sixfields and protesting inside the ground, as 3,000 unhappy fans with no tickets would cause no end of issues for Northampton.
End of the day it is every ones personally decision, we are all coventry city fans at the end of the day and need to unite but we need a new tactic, a new direction on all of this as soon FFP will kick in and the christies, wilsons, clarkes, moussas, could be sold.
Sorry if I offend anyone.
PUSB!!
