Not sure how the licensing works. I’m surprised it has retained as many club names considering they’ve broken away from Fifa.

I saw that 2K were rumoured which is good in that they've got plenty of experience with sport games, but they're just as bad if not worse for the transactions and the card collecting bollocks.

In fairness, I find my own fun, at a stretch, in playing, whether that be on Clubs with a few mates or playing FUT with a Coventry City team, which with evolutions is not too bad, I've managed to get, with minimal effort, Sakamoto, O'Hare (fucked right off when he left, though), Simms and Sheaf very highly rated, and a team that can hold its own.
Although I stop playing FUT around April when everyone has "god squads" and the "meta" gameplay no longer any semblance of fun. Clubs is a cracking, albeit overlooked, game mode.
Haven’t touched it since FIFA 16. It got boring faster than Call of Duty did.

I've got a few of the old PS1 PES games on a dodgy handheld, they've still got the magic. More sense of actual control than any football game released in the last decade
Ah that good news, was hoping they would utilize Ai for that. the generic faces all look the same with creepy smooth skin and shit haircuts. loads of scope for improvement.

Agreed. It’s so easy to build squads now. Spent nothing on it last year and by week two had an 88 rated squad. Miss the days of grinding the market.
I used to like UT but how they have these stupid cards, kits and stadiums, it ruins the authenticity for me. Apparently they’ve removed pro clubs now too, which I don’t understand.
Having the CBS will mean I play career mode for sure.
Pro Clubs is still in the game. The FC25 closed beta is ongoing right now, with Pro Clubs as one of the selected game modes to be beta tested, although it's badly broken with game modes not being available to testers.
I play Career mode but for every new feature like a samey animation of a new signing running on a treadmill they've still got the same thicko features like not being able to sub out players on international duty from a matchday squad and instead having to quit out and edit your lineup instead, or a player asking for a transfer will never change their
Been wanting the CBS for years. Find Fifa a lifesaver in the winter, cold dark and boring, playing pro clubs most evenings with a few mates helps get through winter

I could never get into FUT. Used to annoy me how it turned the game more arcade like - people who aren't as good at the game can just easily smash in goals from 25 yards. Then you have players like David Beckham legends card with 99 pace or something - just didn't make sense to me.
If they had the realistic qualities of the players from seasons in FUT then I'd play it.

I like playing Seasons, but I find the matchmaking seems to be fucked, not sure if you have had any issues in recent FIFA/FC games? Playing mostly against North/South American or Saudi Arabian based players on that game mode every time I try to play it, not fun with 150 ping playing as Coventry
Yeah I always offer a mutual quit when the pings up. If I’m declined I take a lot of pleasure in messaging them after I win saying “you should have quit mate”
