We've had favourite bands and now how about favourite singers ?
Picking one or two is hard so I'll make it your top 10. Here's mine in no particular order.
Paul Rodgers. Janis Joplin. Bon Scott. Bono. Bonnie Raitt. Robert Plant. Neil Young. Blondie. Kate Bush.Bob Dylan.
John Lennon just missed out !

Old Micky Bubbles has a fantastic voice. Smooth as anything and so melodic. Can’t stand his music though.

Love Dolly Partons voice and also like a few of her songs. While on the subject of country and western singers with great voices you also have to mention Jonny Cash and Hank Williams.

My natural leaning is towards heavy rock and metal when it comes to music so love Bruce Dickenson and Ozzy’s voice but have to give a special mention to Kurt Kobain as imho has one of the greatest singing voices ever.

Yep, I so very nearly put Cobain down.

BBC says 'outside the UK'
I've posted music from many of my favourite singers in the "What are you currently listening to" thread. Most of my favourites are women since I prefer female voices.

Women: Grace Slick, Joan Baez, Mimi Farina (Joan Baez's sister), Skeeter Davis, Sandie Shaw, Dusty Springfield, Mary Hopkin, Lulu, Melanie, Alison Krauss, Nancy Griffith, Crystal Gayle, Rita Pavone, Gigliola Cinquetti

Men: Freddie Mercury, Bob Dylan, Donovan, Otis Redding, Percy Sledge, Gene Pitney, Cat Stevens, Perry Como, Sergio Endrigo

I'm sure I've missed some.

I won't do ten ATM
But the two girls from first aid kit make amazing harmonies and such a pity they're splitting .
Rose Royce sand some cracking vocals during my courting years
Many a smooch and a feel on a Friday or Saturday night to her classic songs
Some brilliant choices saluting the great talents of our era in this thread !!
