Who's been your favourite player to watch since we got relegated from the Championship?

For me, it has to be Franck Moussa that 13/14 season he was absolutely unplayable and scored some lovely goals too!

The Moussa-Baker-Clarke-Wilson front 4 was exceptional. A shame it was ruined by Andy Webster and Dan Seabourne at the back.

My favourite would probably be Armstrong in his first three games. I genuinely thought we were about to go up as Champions.

Wilson. I remember the first day of the season -10 points away at Crawley knowing we were going to be at Northampton and had some academy kid up front it all felt doom and gloom but his ability just shone out. A massive shining light and I knew he was destined for good things. Had a tenner on him playing for England one day in about November of that year.

Callum Wilson - as a home grown striker with that much pace it was the saving grace of that season.
McNulty towards the end of that season just because it was a question of when, not if, he would score.
Joe Cole in the very beginning just because it was Joe Cole.

If Liam Kelly continues in the same vain he has since Michael Doyle was dropped he'll soon become my favourite.

Some of the things he does go under the radar sometimes, but this kind of stuff is beautiful... First time, no look pass

To watch? Probably Adam Armstrong first half of the 2015/16 season. Now, he was the definition of unplayable during that short period.

Not surprised to see so many say the same, I also immediately thought of Adam Armstrong. Up until his drought in the second half of the season, he was just unplayable. It was never a case of if he'd score, but how many. For me he was the first person in a long time that brought geniune hope and energy to the squad. Especially when he had so many good players around him like Maddison, Cole and Murphy. Gutted we didn't go up that season!

Kieran Westwood when on his best form gets a shout out as well.

Wilson, Maddison, Moussa, Armstrong and Bright’s come close this season. If I had to pick one it would probably be Maddison. Bright stays next season and I can see it being him!

For me it has to be David McGoldrick.
Although that Wilson and Clarke partnership was pretty spectacular, I hardly seen them. What with not going to Northampton and all that!

I'm an idiot. I assumed it was relegation from the Prem not Championship and said David Thompson.

Re: L1 and below, I'd say David McGoldrick. He was classy, skillful, and knew how to find the onion bag.

Ah thanks. I didn't read and I put Wise lol. From 1 & below I really like Bright, one of the few to get you out of your seat, but I'd probably choose Sparky's goals in the promotion season.

The Wilson / Clarke partnership

Also Armstrong with Kent/Murphy/Lameres - they seemed to enjoy playing together. I thought Armstrong didn't look the same when his mates had gone and would just stroll back after making a run after that so was often offside.

Both times I always expected the ball to go in the net

In terms of ability it’s Maddison by a mile, but I always looked forward to games when Jodi Jones was playing, and I hope he’s entertaining us again soon.

The memory of Maddison is flawed by the way he just gave up after signing for Norwich. He started that season so brightly, lit up games, got injured, came back and started doing it again but as soon as his transfer went through he just wandered around the pitch having a go at other players or his head down not tracking back.

I'd love to see Bright Enobakhare over a full season, the way he played in his loan spell was unbelievable at times.

The front four of Maddison, Armstrong, Murphy and Kent was mouth-watering - the way we killed Gillingham in 45 mins at the Ricoh was something else.

Murphy had a lot of potential to excite and has gone slightly further than Armstrong.

Love this question. Also a topic that surely people can't revert to the usual shite.

Would have to agree with most common names Maddison - could tell he was going to a Prem player instantly, Armstrong - Never felt more confident a player would score (and tear defences to shreds) than him, Bright - He does things that make football a joy to watch and has (embarassingly) caused me to make audible noises of pleasure on many occasions.

One I would like to point out (that one other poster already has) would be Lameiras. I know he was 'lightweight' and wasnt 'passionate' enough for some, but on his day was great. Vision, touch, natural ability and passing range above this level.
