Just think now isn't the time to be getting on players backs (besides Freddy is heavy enough without anyone on his back). I'd rather a half fit Freddy on the bench than ROD or Jeffers any day.

Couldn't agree more Eastwood very useful sub and he can only get fitter if he gets his head right.

Looking at bench. Dunn, Baker, Bell, Eastwood, Wood.

All decent options even before loans did not think we had the worst squad in championship by a mile......that's three home wins on the bounce now......need to keep that up and start to pick up points on the road.....like Millwall did unfortunately today!

If we can keep all we have left and add one or two more think we have a good shout of escaping if all stay fit. PUSB

If we had to lose one it would be Clingan to go every time mind!

Got in Nimelys way big time though at one point. Even Nimely must have wondered wtf he was doing tacklin his own man!

Was greedy with the effort when he beat the keeper to the ball towards the end. Good job we were 2 goals clear by then, otherwise the booing fans would have got on his back more than they already were (arseholes!)

Good to see him back in the frame. We need all hands on deck afterall!

I think Freddy was absolutely class. Played some great touches, get him fit again and he'll be a great super sub/foil for Nimely. Buzzing!!

There was a lot of booing. About 50/50 I would say. Well from the Tesco stand anyway.

I have loved freddy since the day he arrived and in all the relevant previous posts about him ,i've always stuck up for him.
Class first touch and an eye for a killer pass, and can score goals. I know he is a pain in the arse and i also agree it was terribly disrespective to the fans and club when he refused/ did'nt get fit at the start in the season. I just love the way he plays and if he could get really fit he could turn this season around for us.

What a start of the week-end for me, Cov win and tomorrow after my house being on the market for 8 months with no viewings, tomorrow I've got a couple coming over to see it with the view to rent it first then buy it later this year. Just think this could be the best week-end i've had for bloody ages.
I could be coming home lads, and once i am the Ricoh attendance goes officially up by two, as i can't drive so i've got to bring the missus.

All that booin when Eastwood came on will do wonders for our chances. Dick heads.

He didn't exactly deserve the fawning applause either, though, the lazy fat git. My ST money helps pay his wages, bout time he started trying to earn it.

Not impressed by Freddie, as soon as he did something good & robbed ball from goalie he spoils it by going for glory & trying to curl it in from on the line.. rather than the professional cross to team mate (Nimley I think) who got into box.

He has ability in spades but no discipline or professionalism.

Thought he was poor, but strangley think he could be a good foil between mc Sheffery and Nimley. As for all freddie's faults he has a good touch and can pick a pass. And to be fair to him that tackle on Nimley was ace.
Just a shame he went for a back post curler towards the end when he could have give someone else a try

He was greedy with this chance, but I think if it was McShffrey who got into that position, he'd have gone for goal too! Would he be getting the critisism Eastwood is for this ONE chance?

I booed Eastwood when he came on and I don't regret it one bit.

I would never boo a player for lack of quality, but for lack of effort, then yes without a doubt.

As far as I'm concerned, his time is up at Cov and I look forward to the day he is gone.

So the fact that he refused to play all season and the only reason he is now is to try and put himself in the shop window doesn't bother you? He cares nothing about the club just himself. I didn't boo him as he is beneath contempt.

Nothing about being a man.

More about being fed up with a player who is paid by our club to play football / do a job, but clearly can't be arsed to and clearly doesn't give a shit that fans who pay to go and watch, have to work all week to help pay his wages.

So excuse me if I didn't jump to my feet like a silly lap dog clapping a waste of space who doesnt give too hoots.

Mug.

Personally I'd never boo the guy and hope he proves useful during the remainder of his stay but He's shown too little of these class touches over the years and 17 goals in 120 odd games !!

He has time and time again proved to be and arrogant lazy time waster who has just been a drain on the club resources and when was asked to move on said no because it meant he'd have to drive down there. When the club is hemorrhaging money like it is we can do without people like that on board.

In my opinion of course.

I never have nor ever will understand why a person feels the need to boo a player of the side he reports to support. If you like the guy then cheer, if you don't then stay quiet even if he scores, but to try to get under his skin effecting his performance and thus your team is at the very least childish and bordering on the moronic.

I felt like booing simply 'cos so many people were applauding him on like the returning Prodigal Son, here to save us. He doesn't deserve that.

As I have said all season long I think we will stay up. We have not been outplayed much. Very unusual for a team at the bottom. The last thing we need though is fans booing their own players. Our team needs all the help they can get. Does anyone really think that booing a player will make any difference on wether a player is with us next season or not?

he may have some weight, but not half as much as clingan was showing today - he could certainly do with losing a stone or two - noticeable paunch

He's been injured, not lazy, big difference. And he closed down relentlessly second half in a way Freddy simply can't/won't. Don't get why he's such a hero to some, I really don't.

I heard chants of " super super Fred "

Now that's what I call moronic.
