Did you know that the word 'Arena' is derived from the Roman word meaning 'sand'....which they used on the floor of the Colloseum to mop up the blood??
I wouldnt have fancied being a steward there I can tell you - all those entrails...all the noise, the violence....actually, come to think about it, Ive worked a couple of games that werent disimilar :) ;)

:D Yes I Knew That. They Used To Hold all There Gladiator Fights in Arenas. Maybe you should Surround The pitch with Buckets of Sand and when needed you can Run onto The pitch with a Bucket and Cover The Blood and guts up :D:D:D:D:D

When I stood there I thought, this isnt disimilar to the Ricoh....I guess it was the blueprint for all subsequent stadiums.
