And if you don't get a reply here then you can go and wait outside the telegraph office as I believe they are there all day or to save you as journey direct line is 02476 500322 for sports.

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley insists Belgian midfielder won't be sold in January

Every week, we ask our Twitter and Facebook followers to come up with their own questions for Sky Blues leader Steven Pressley.

@skybluewoody asked: “How close are the club to getting Moussa to sign a new contract. If he doesn’t, will he be sold this window?”

Steven Pressley replied: “He will definitely not be sold in this window. Steve Waggott has spoken to his agent and we wait on further discussions.

“He’s up in the summer but he’s done exceptionally well this year and given us a brilliant goal return from midfield, so he’s definitely a player whose services we would like to retain.”

If he was offered a contract the odds are it would have been a low offer.

If we are playing in Northampton next year our income will be very low. FFP will kick in.

2,000 tickets at 10 quid is 20k a game. And we don't charge that much. 23 games a season is about 460k a year. FFP means 60% of income for transfers and wages. So our yearly spend will be about 300k. Spread over the year it will be about 6k a week. This is for the whole squad. So unless we have a squad mainly from the academy we won't be able to have players taking up a large amount of the available funds. And I can't see them gifting our club millions. The debts will just be added to. Joy has admitted that we will be relying on the academy.

If the club choose to fund the squad with equity they can. So the point on FFP is moot.

Additionally equity injected cannot be added to the debt.

If anybody from the CET is reading, why are articles still being written about this clown

Dammed if you do, dammed if you don't. If it wasn't covered you would have people moaning that CT aren't covering it, love SISU, love CCC or some other rubbish. The website is shocking though and doesn't even cover the basics you get on sites like kickstarter such as what risk there is, when you payment gets taken etc.

Would anybody moan it wasn't covered? What next, the man from Nigeria who will send me the money to buy the club as long as I give them my bank details? I am not saying it / he is a scam, but it is amateur at best.

Are you telling me the email I got this morning from the Nigerian Prince about a lottery win is fake? Damn ;)

I think in fairness to CET/Simon Gilbert it's fair enough to report it straight and then leave us to draw our own judgements. That's what what we do for everyone else's pronouncements after all. Plus there's not a lot else going on at the moment is there? The calm before the storm, perhaps...

Money from cup ties and the sale of Clarke should push it into 7 figures.
