I don’t particularly remember “You’ll Never Walk Alone” being sung during the Cup Final itself, but it got a huge rendition from all the people in our coach party at a village pub somewhere in the Home Counties on the way back from the match. The landlord played the original song in tribute to us at high volume, and we all belted it out with our scarves over our heads.
