Decent now they have more bars but still gets busy towards the end, pre game (not been in post game before)
Not eaten in there but people saying the foods more expensive than in the concourse?
Decent family zone activities and they have a darts thing tomorrow with a local lad whose doing quite well on tour at the moment.
Think its open from 12 or 12.30 to 2.30 pre game and open until 7.30pm post game tomorrow.
Is the food the same as the concourse or have they got more selection?Went in the fanzone.
Thought it was really good. Easy to get served for drink and food.
SBITC stuff looked really good along with other stuff going on, darts, axe throwing etc.
Blues v Derby on the screen and a band as well.
Not something I'll be using too often but I was impressed and money going onto the club.
Oh, and £4.50 a Stella, which is decent.

I might try it with the lad for the Ipswich game then. Not sure mate. I didn't have anything and didnt take too much notice but my son had some loaded fries that looked decent and there was a burger bar and a few other stalls dotted around.
Was easy getting served at the stall we went to.

Went to look when it first opened but the crowd to get in put me off. Sounds decent.
Went in the Fan Village for the first time yesterday and thought it was really good.
Loads of tables and loads of bars and staff on. Loads for the kids to do and plenty of tables for the adults to gather around. Never took longer than a couple of minutes to get served even when the place was packed out.
Doug must be raking it in at the moment, several thousand in there from 12.30 onwards. Loads of food drink and merch being sold. But £6 for a tray of chips is steep Doug old lad.
I think it could work (maybe scales down a bit) for big away matches towards the end of the season.
There's one for the stadium bowl. From what I've seen of the fanzone its all food trucks so potentially changes on a game buy game basis. It would be good if the club provided a list of what food and drink options are available and where. Not everyone is able-bodied and has time to wander about.
For the Oxford game there will be some chess in the fan village for those so inclined!
Thought you were all up for getting mated? Not sure my ticker could withstand that sort of high octane pre match activity.

There’s more drugs and bad behaviour in professional chess than at any football game.
Yep. Never heard of a footballer using vibrating anal beads. There’s more drugs and bad behaviour in professional chess than at any football game.

Just by the steps up from the a444 and the foot bridgeHow do you get in the fan zone in the exhibition hall? The website says gate 27. Which one is that? I did go in there once but got in through some doors on the far west side of the hall by the end of the footbridge. Are they not using that as an entrance any more?
Take a blanket it’s bloody freezing in there
Yeah it's always boilingIt wasn't when I went in there, in fact it was that warm I had to take my coat off.
I was a bit disappointed last time I went; same limited beer choice at every bar and a queue for a drink each time too.
The previous two times I was impressed; better beer selection and quick service.
Hopefully it returns to that level on Saturday!
