Decent now they have more bars but still gets busy towards the end, pre game (not been in post game before)

Not eaten in there but people saying the foods more expensive than in the concourse?

Decent family zone activities and they have a darts thing tomorrow with a local lad whose doing quite well on tour at the moment.

Think its open from 12 or 12.30 to 2.30 pre game and open until 7.30pm post game tomorrow.

Stayed for a few in the East Stand concourse post game.

Atmosphere was really nice. And I purposely use the word nice. Wasn’t an especially typical football type atmosphere, but everyone in good spirits and singing along to stuff (not me as wasn’t with that sort of crowd!) and beers flowing etc.

Happily have been in there with my kids (4 and 5 year old girls) for example - and they would have been singing/ dancing!

Think the main point of my rambling is this is so so so so far away going to watch Cov at home a few years ago.

Went in the fanzone.
Thought it was really good. Easy to get served for drink and food.
SBITC stuff looked really good along with other stuff going on, darts, axe throwing etc.
Blues v Derby on the screen and a band as well.

Not something I'll be using too often but I was impressed and money going onto the club.

Oh, and £4.50 a Stella, which is decent.

Is the food the same as the concourse or have they got more selection?

Not sure mate. I didn't have anything and didnt take too much notice but my son had some loaded fries that looked decent and there was a burger bar and a few other stalls dotted around.

Was easy getting served at the stall we went to.

I like it in there. The band provide a good atmosphere and I like that they pause to read the team news, plenty to eat and drink, plenty of space/places to sit. I don't have any children but it's great to see how much there is for them to do in there, which definitely helps with the atmosphere. My only quibble is that the beer choice is terrible, all I could find was Stella and Camden Stout. If they had a few more beers on tap I'd probably spend my entire prematch in there.

I might try it with the lad for the Ipswich game then.
Went to look when it first opened but the crowd to get in put me off. Sounds decent.

Went in the Fan Village for the first time yesterday and thought it was really good.

Loads of tables and loads of bars and staff on. Loads for the kids to do and plenty of tables for the adults to gather around. Never took longer than a couple of minutes to get served even when the place was packed out.

Doug must be raking it in at the moment, several thousand in there from 12.30 onwards. Loads of food drink and merch being sold. But £6 for a tray of chips is steep Doug old lad.

I think it could work (maybe scales down a bit) for big away matches towards the end of the season.

Chips were £4 from the loaded fries stall!
