It will be within 6 miles (that's of course if it isn't the Ricoh) and I will review my situation when the time comes to do so.

It's a temporary situation (we have to own our own ground or our owners do if we can't afford it) and have access to ALL revenue streams, gross income 60% on players dealings, wages, bonuses, transfers etc. etc..

FIFA 'Financial Fair Play' is kicking in even in the Premier League (note Man. City £49 million fine + only allowed a squad of 21 for the Champions League), the next thing will be a domestic League points deduction IMHO!

You have a choice, attend or not and I made mine. Make no mistake we will be back, if the club still exists?

You say 'temporary' but how temporary?

Most of us believe the club have no intention of building a new stadium and wouldn't be able to raise the funding to do so anwyay. It's either the Ricoh or bust I feel.

The way things are going on and the stubborness on display from people involved seems to point to a possible scenario of a few seasons in Northampton.

I thought TF upped the anti to 9 miles maybe 1 or 2 more if the right sight becomes available.

6 miles last month, 9 miles this.

By the end of the year it might still just be in the UK.

The most likely outcome would be that the owners would 'wind-the-club-up' since you can't buy when there's nothing to sell!

Have a look at liquidation processes.
The most likely outcome would be the squad would be sold, as would Ryton and the naming rights for CCFC. The purchaser would also have to ask the FL for the rights to the golden share.

You're the last person who I would of thought of for suggesting a total boycott but I do see your logic. We need to demonstrate that sisu's unbelievably stupid decision to move our club to Northampton is killing it.

I've suggested in several times. The football league is interested in fixture fulfilment predominantly. It may have an issue if there was universal opinion the club were at risk of permenantly moving away. Normal or increased attendance at away games sends the message supporters believe the club is still Coventry based and will return.

I also posted the best form of protest at the Arsenal game was to buy all tickets have one attendee with a huge banner with something like "moved from Coventry" and all 7,000 do a sit down at FL headquarters. Wouldn't work though would it as people just wanted to go the the game.

Everyone is united. They go to games still if they want and justify it.

All protest ideas have been useless.

I have also previously said get someone to stand at local elections but someone with a real presence.

Blockade the area around the Ricoh when a concert is on is another one.

Blanket boycott of all parties activities - regular FL protests - those things eventually would make a difference.

There isn't the desire though - there is fan unity - to do nothing.

If nobody went to games at Northampton it would cost SISU money. ATM they are loaning lots of money to our club. But with FFP rules they would have to gift money to our club to pay the wage bill. Unless that is unless they got rid of every player who's wages come under the FFP rules.

No it doesn't & Fisher said so in the SCG meetings, it is minuted.. the figure he used was 9 miles, like I said I've asked the FL for their criteria and they refuse to give a straight answer, so more bullshit from you I'm afraid.

What makes you think they have no intention and that they couldn't fund it?

I believe they could and they can but are concerned about the timescale (which is out if their hands anyway).

Whether you like it or not it is moving forward with two sites, one in the North & one in the South.

They have to comply with T & C's and timescales set out by the FL.

What are they then, I've asked and they will not tell me. How do you know they are acceptable conditions?

If they weren't you'd be hearing all about it via the media but cannot really add more, at the moment.

Things happening behind the scenes, is it at all possible that an out of court settlement just might be reached?
Just to avoid unnecessary & crippling legal costs! Who know's?

No you wouldn't, they are confidential between the FL & Otium.. how would the media find out?

What is happening behind the scenes, you keep intimating that you are 'in the know' but every time you are quizzed about what you say you have no answer.
I believe you know sod all and you are simply making it up & hoping things will turn out how you hope. In short a bit of a fantasist.

To be fair you've described 90% of people on here regarding their "this would definitely happen if we did X, Y or Z" theories.

My friend, you can think whatever you like, it doesn't worry or concern me.

Whatever is or is not happening, no doubt we'll ALL be finding out shortly!

By the way I suggest that you take a look at a recent article in Private Eye, entitled Own Goal!

What would it achieve?

A re-assertion of identity and, thus, a more positive sense that at least we're all in it together and, thus... more chance of a successful CCFC in the future, as more of us will be around who actually want to turn up to games etc and actually care.

Also, a voice that would be a more effective voice in showing a football club in Coventry matters. It may not achieve the instant, tangible results now... but it'd achieve a damned site more in the long run.

Or a CCC or ACL shortly?

More than one party involved here (although most of you appear to totally ignore that).

NO I DON'T SUPPORT ANY OF THEM BY THE WAY.

The silence from some has been deafening though!

I don't support any of them either, but it only seems to be our owners who keep talking about 'announcing things shortly' and '3 weeks' etc. to be fair.

You know that I am not saying anything of the sort.

With FFP rules we can only spend 60% of income on wages and transfers. Loans don't come into it. If there was no income from home games they would have to gift our club money just to cover wages covered by FFP rules. Although I suppose we would end up with just academy players.

I agree that unity is desirable and that it would help to keep the fires burning in hope of better times. But it won't get us back to the Ricoh. I don't think its surprising that fans have become divided given the all the smoke, mirrors and bullshit we've had to interpret. Maybe when more facts are available we will be able to move forward together.

Or maybe because they just don't want to say things they can't back up with actual actions.

Saying nothing is annoying, but it is more annoying to hear '3 week' comments and then nothing happening at all.

Either someone's not asking the right people or the right questions.

Terminology, it's companies working on behalf of the owners not the owners who are making the inquiries.

So under FOI, just perhaps someone's being evasive?

How do you know nothings happening?

Perhaps just not being made public, I don't know the reasons.

Maybe it's been a bad idea all along to quote 'timescales'!

It won't short term, that's for sure.

Long term however, there's more chance of seeing flexibility in council budgets if the lobby group for the club is bigger and more united.

Longer term there's more chance of a half decent owner wanting to buy us if they can see a larger and more united fan group.

What amazes me on here is how many seemingly sane (? debatable maybe!) people resort to the base line of pigeonholing. Nowt wrong with having an opinion one way or another, nowt wrong about arguing with that opinion (this is t'intenet after all, and where would we be without arguing!) but the mindless bollocks of pre-pubescent skybluetalkers on heat is becoming astounding in its execution!

Wouldn't mind if we hadn't done everything to death countless times, and it's pretty obvious who's set fair for what course...

So, beyond that, fan unity gets over that, and allows us to remember there is at least a point in following our team! Not like we chose 'em for the success after all, is it?

If the coming march gets decent numbers than the major players at least see that, even if it's for their own ends, fans are stakeholders who must be considered in some sense. If it ends up the Trust board and the Trust board's cats, along with the bloke who used to take his clothes off in public (Vincent Bethall?) then we're truly fucked.
