People like you lot are too stupid to see the truth. If we were back at the Ricoh tomorrow, after the first few games it would only be a few of us true fans who would turn up week in week out. Rest of you would be posting on sites like this slagging of the Ricoh and reminiscing how great highfield road was...

That's a totally different point to your original post. In your OP you stated there were more people on the march than went to the Ricoh, your own figures then showed this to be incorrect!

If we were back at the Ricoh I expect there would be a bump at the start of the season with the excitement of being back but I would be amazed if it didn't settle down to around the same level as before we left, so more people than on the march and a lot more people than at Sixfields.

Remember if you believe there are only 8K turning up every week its not the same people all the time, not everyone can go to every game so if you factor that in the total number of people who attend at the Ricoh will be a lot higher.

Same old same old. The loonatics have taken over the asylum. I don't know what that says about me, I like it here

Good to see you back anyway. I hope you stick around for a little while. Who knows, if we do get home for the start of the season things might get a little normal around here. .......

.........naaaaa.

It is worrying that people are still having the 'true fan' debate! I waded into one or two of them last season and it made part of my brain dissolve.

It's a new season I guess I ought to show a bit of enthusiasm. Today has lifted my spirits a bit, guess that applies to quite a few others, although we'll all hate each other again within a week.

We need something like the tesco club card and get supporter points every time you go a game, buy merch etc. Then we can have endless threads about how many points we all have and who's the best fan

At the Ricoh during the last season at le'ast 2000 people didn't show up each game. These were made up from season ticket holders, who on average 1500 didn't show and the rest were comp tickets and corp guests. This over inflated the attendance. The attendance figure is based on tickets issued, not actual people in the stadium, all clubs do this.

So 6000 ish was the real average attendance and were the true CCFC fans.

Many today who marched disappeared when we needed them at the Ricoh, and many more today were just
jumping on the bandwagon.

Like I said Fair Weather Supporters...!

They must be really desperate to jump on the skyblue bandwagon....

They are bollox, mate. The guys I go to matches with have been each watching the City and going to football matches for more than 30 years. Whilst crowd numbers may have been overstated, we averaged 11K on a visual count, and which would fell to 9K on a shitty evening game. I think there was one game where it got to the 8Ks, but that's all. The thread title and premise is a muppet show.

I'm very disappointed and offended by this type of unnecessary language. All I've done is share my well informed opinion....
Shame on you....so called fellow supporters

I do love the way that you know everyone who attended at the ricoh compared to who attended the march to be able to compare the 'true supporters' to 'fair weather supporters'.

The boy is clearly on a wind up by the way!!

Fair enough that, Shmmeee, but I just saw the words 'Mr.Creosote' and made a judgement upon that.
