Im not sure if it's been said but yes we played crap but fair play to them.

Coming to us and taking the game to us, going all out and attacking. Can't take it away from them can we?

Yes burge gave them their goal, but they were all over us before.

Can't imagine how their players felt coming to the ricoh and putting on a show for so many of their fans

Worcester have had their share a problems in recent years. They deserved their moment of glory because they believed and worked hard for it. Good luck Worcester in the next round.

I'd echo that, the general misery of our demise shouldn't diminish a great day out for the true fans of Worcester City. I wish them good luck in the future and a lucrative draw !

They thoroughly deserved their victory on the day and were not flattered by the scoreline. Good luck to them I hope the cup run helps solve some of their financial worries

They took the piss out of us on the pitch is what they did. Well done to them, totally deserved.

Happy for their fans, even the ones who we spoke to before who didn't know who any of their players were when I asked them who to look out for. :)

Yep. Hats off to Worcester.

Not taking anything away from them at all, but I reckon Coundon Primary Under 11 Girls would have given us a bit of a hard game yesterday too.

No problem with Worcester winning, but for them to dominate so entirely whereby even a 4 or 5 nil victory wouldn't have flattered them, does point to something really wrong with the Sky Blues side yesterday.

They sang there hearts out, fair play to them, i like how they sang "we're shit" to us and we replied back "we agree"...

Highlight of the day for me.

This seems the most appropriate thread for me to post in, as I can understand the impact of yesterday on your Club, team and support, as is being let in so many other threads/media. I'm not here to talk about issues on your side that I dont really know anything about.

As long-standing fans, we loved the day - the result was probably the biggest event for the Club since beating Liverpool in 1959, and so offers a new generation a proud moment in history. The fans that attended on the day - an awesome experience and a wall of sound that surely settled nerves on the pitch - well, if 150 start coming regularly as a result, then the Club will be happy. You probably dont know much about our manager, but Carl Heeley is Worcester City through and through and that result is massive for him, along with his joint management team, Matt Gardiner and John Snape.

For the players - well, it was the best shop window available, and they shone. We have a mix of experience and youth - Wayne Thomas and Danny Jackman have both gone part-time recently but offer just what was needed - and then we have a set of lads who are looking to step-up, and what better platform to offer. Frankly I cant believe how well they performed yesterday - we see it week in, week out, so they clearly have it, but against Coventry, at the Ricoh, on the TV ... but not a freeze in sight. But that is experience gained from performing week in and week out in competitive games, and what has been said by the FA recently about reserve and youth team football lacking the needed competitive edge, gained a strong argument yesterday.

Some talk recently from Clive Platt that he may renew his interest of last summer in us now that he has retired from full-time at Bury, and is looking at playing part-time, once he gets over a hammy injury. He had mentioned a couple of weeks back that Tamworth, Nuneaton and Worcester were Clubs that he spoke to at the end of last year. Did wonder whether he might have been lined up for yesterday, but am glad he wasnt as the team spirit and togetherness of the current squad got us through yesterday.

Wishing you well, and am at least understanding of what it means to you fans.

Good positive post........... but Clive Platt..................not a good move, he was like an oil tanker when he was younger and fit, now with injury problems as well. He'd hamper you !
