Fair play, finally they have put their foot down to help the fans.

We should try get other football fans to sign the petition.

Wow seems the CT have finally grown a pair. Not like them to show any sort of backbone. I'm impressed.

I've signed it too - everyone should sign it!
If nothing else it will show sisu, ACL and CCC that this dispute has gone too far already.

Irrespective of what you think of the CT's dismal performance so far this is finally a step in the right direction so sign up and let everyone know how we feel about our club.

Will definitely sign it.

We are Coventry City, a Coventry football club and there is already a stadium in Coventry.

Talk of anything else is just ludicrous.

Signed. This needs to have 10k+ signatures to have the impact required i.e. at least the size of our average home gate.

I think a ground-share with Southampton would be in order! (Not far for me to go! )

Signed it too. Whatever the arguments as to who is to blame for where we are now, this simply can't be allowed to happen and a united message must be sent to let the owners know we won't stand for it.

Just looked at the petition. They want a cash donation at the end of it. Bit of a cheek! :thinking about:

I quite simply refused to pay the $2 for signing a petition, when I know of someone who has signed a petition before for free.

I will not be paying the $2 but will look to continue to use the petition until the petition company go into administration..

Failing that, I will take them to court to prove the golden petition is in a different company !

I've signed, and would urge everyone to sign and get their friends and family to sign too - hopefully one day it will sink into SISU that they are not wanted, though i'm not holding my breath

When you get to the cash donation screen, you have already signed the petition, the donation is voluntary and goes to the petition website as they don't have adverts. you can just leave the website at that point, you have already signed, so there is no issue at all.

Edit - Sorry realise you are joking but others seem concerned about the donation. I should have quoted someone else.

I've posted the link on my facebook page to try and get friends to sign it. If everyone who can does the same it might get some momentum. The Sky Blue Trust should be urging it's member's to do the same.

Get over it. There's no copyright in news. What did you want a byline and a picture in the paper? You wrote nothing!

:thinking about: not sure the link works on mobile devices...... I've got 'Emergency action to obtain methodone treatment for Kentucky's Narcotics-addicted veterans'

I got it on my phone, click the ipetitions link at the bottom of the telegraph article. This takes you to the ipetitions homepage, then choose today's top and it is called keep city in Coventry

I didn't want anything as it wasn't me who found the information, but they covered things as 'Telegraph exclusives' which clearly weren't all their own work.

"Exclusive" is a reference to other news outlets failing to obtain the story, not the source of the information. Every story has a source. I don't think you understand how news works.

You'd fit right in with the CovMad "news" team.

Forget I said anything. In other walks of life if you don't acknowledge the contributions of others it goes down as shady.

It's the petition company not the CET who are asking for the cash, yes I signed it but no I didn't hand over any money.
