Would have got relegated the years they took over, given that we survived that season on GD.
We weren’t doing great but then Coleman did his best to get us relegated. I’ve always wondered how different it could have been had we gone for Pearson rather than the expert ‘Uncle Ray’s’ first choice, Chris Coleman.
You’re right, but had we got a 10pt deduction it’s pretty safe to say we would’ve got relegated.
Personally, I’m of the opinion we were destined for L1 at one point, which wasn’t necessarily a bad thing given the success of Norwich, Sheff U, Leicester, Southampton, Bournemouth and so on...
I’m happy for people to blame SISU for relegation from L1 to L2, but not so much Championship to L1.

Yeah we were, we also very nearly got relegated before they did. They played a part in that relegation definitely by making a succession of bad appointmentsI’d be surprised if we managed to squeeze 10 replies out of this one.
