Watford claimed a penalty, instead of playing on. Their players all immediately ran to the ref while the ball was still in play.

What's all that about?

They just all stopped to claim offside when it wasn't. Man city score.

Another non spectacle involving two teams supposedly from the same best league in the world. It's embarrassing how big the gap is.

Yep, non-event at the moment. Not sure I can be bothered with the second half. Never thought I'd say that about the FA Cup.

Tuned in just in time for the first goal.

Maybe I'm going mad, but I actually enjoy watching Man City, and find myself taking their side more often than not in a game of neutrals.

I can't abide Man City. Monotonous machine, making domestic football intolerable.

Football is fucked isn't it? FA Cup Final and you've got Man City resting players and winning 6-0.

What's the point? Its not enertaining, its not a competition.

It is embarrassing, the commentary team like the media in general make no mention at all about the 'records' Man City are of the back of a record amount of investment that skews even more an already skewed playing field.

Yep, the game is fucked. The media are complicit. The BBC's fawning is ridiculous.

"Remarkable story" - they've spent £1.2bn yet they've still won fuck all in Europe, not even got close

Embarrassing for the FA. 6-0 flattered Watford. A real non contest. And to think that was the most important one off game back in the day. Now pretty meaningless... just look at the corporate seats.

I don’t like their owners but Man City are good aren’t they. Did they even get out of 2nd gear or have to try? Looking forward to watching Bernardo Silva in a couple of weeks. He’s the POTS imo.

I’ve said it for years now, lower league is so much better.. Yes the quality isn’t as good, the stadiums are shitter but £350 for a season ticket, 23 games, the odd clanger, goals etc make it real football, the elite in the premier leagues are freaks, it’s like watching a computer game.

In all my years watching football what has happened to Man City is the most baffling thing I've witnessed in the game.

In the shadow of their neighbours, constantly having their nose rubbed in United's success their support remained loyal and passionate.
After a long wait they finally have success and the chance to Lord it over their rivals yet the heart and passion seems to have been ripped out of the club. Bizarre.

I get what you are saying

When I was at college I worked in Manchester for a while and used to visit Maine road a lot as I lived near there. It was a great place to go - Mick McCarthy I’m sure was a big centre half for them then

Old Trafford by comparison was sterile and boring

Success brings the corporate world it seems

Sad state of affairs that we think £350 for garbage football is a bargain

Difference is Fergie built something incredible from a much more level playing field. They spent big because they earned it and weren't handed a blank cheque by a tycoon. Same for Wenger's Arsenal of the late 90s and early 00s. Now it's what happens when you give yourself billions on a manager game. It gets boring after a few seasons.
