Not going, and I barely ever not go
Just not spending money on a ticket, trains and beer tokens on the day out to watch Lampard and Robins play their second string in a game neither will be arsed about winning at a shit ground I have been to a million times before
Already booked train tickets to go up to Scotland for the weekend to resist the temptation when the tickets come outYou'll end up going when it's £15 and we sell 5000.
I’ll consider it for 20 points

Recall Rapha and Obikwu then send them straight back on loan…Who are these kids that everyone keeps on about playing? Perry/Andrews spring to mind-who else?
A televised coin toss. Best of three goes through.Shit draw.
Doubt they're giddy at the prospect either but at least they're at home.
Given we're both going for promotion be interesting to see what the approach is
i’d take a pointNo draws here settled on the day.
Shepherd, Brau, Varney have all made the bench this season.Who are these kids that everyone keeps on about playing? Perry/Andrews spring to mind-who else?
Play the kids please Frank.
Shepherd, Brau, Varney have all made the bench this season.
Thats a GK (Varney), defender (Perry), LB (Brau), 2x midfielders (Andrews and Shepherd)
Add Lati, Bidwell, Allen, 2x new winger signings and BTA to get some match time to get him back to match fitness. Plus Dovin too hopefully? Also add some minutes for Woolf and KKH too. Thats a squad of 14. Give everyone else the night/afternoon off.

You got it spot on..5000 away at Stoke could be fun
Hardly, an hour awayWorst draw ever.
Expect a win here - Robins will play the U18s. He never tended to prioritise the cups.
It’ll only be a 30 pointer if it’s midweek. Perhaps the MR derby interests the TV channels (probably not). That's the least id expect!
Yet we got to the semi final under him, and also gave it a good go in the seasons we got promoted from League 1 and League 2.
Trouble is,it maybe a different by then?Play the kids and go out with a whimper
No one gives a fuck about the cup this season
And we had a favorable route the the 6th roundThe semi-final season was because Doug wanted a decent cup run though
I usually can’t stay away myself, swearing to myself all season I’m not doing PNE on a Tuesday night, yet here I am taking a half day at work to drive up there laterFair play! I wish I could stay away from it for one weekend.

But tbh I harbour absolutely zero desire to go to Stoke away again for a while, 50% of the football experience for me is enjoying the day out and I simply do not enjoy going there - Shit ground in a shit hole, where our fans are treated like shit and can’t drink anywhere apart from being kettled into a Harvester by the stadium - Taking into considering the fact that I doubt either side will be that fussed about even winning the game, I’m going to go and do something different that weekend instead
Only becuase Doug demanded we had a run - up until then Robins barely but first teamers out. He regularly made us aware it wasn’t a priority.Yet we got to the semi final under him, and also gave it a good go in the seasons we got promoted from League 1 and League 2.

in terms of the league one promotion season we lost in the 3rd round - it was the 6 games we played due to replays that made it seem long
Who else did we play? I remember Bristol Rovers and then Ipswich, then we played Birmingham? We went out in the 4th round in 2020
I only remember it vividly as we would have played Leicester just before lockdown had we beat Brum on penalties - which looking back at the way we won the League may well could have cost us promotion as we would have played one less league game and the players may well have been distracted
Last time we played Stoke in R3 we got promoted that season if you want another omenWe had to beat Stoke on our way to the final in 1987. Deja vu
Worked in 87.?Fucking Stoke, though.
