IF Macs hold on this will be a bigger upset than Sutton (beating the actual holders, bigger financial, gulf etc.), yet we'll still get fucking Gander Green 1989 every 3rd round draw.

Palace players were too close to the wall, VAR would have chalked that off.

He should’ve gone down under Hughes’ arm. Free kick, take time.

Get in! That is pure FA cup magic, that's what it's all about.

Now hopefully they'll stop yapping on about bloody Sutton United every cup draw.....

And it might knock Wrexham back a page or two. Added bonus!

Would not want to be a Palace fan tonight. There will probably be a massive backlash, they've been hideous recently as well.

Well done Macclesfield!

I wouldn’t hold your breath - They can’t help themselves mentioning the most spawniest FA cup win in the history of the competition.

This was the one that finally shook the monkey off our back.
Albeit it Luton have been NL for a micro amount of time in their history!

This is the first time a team of that level have won and they’ve also beaten the holders. Luton and Lincoln were different as they’d been in the league pyramid before

Our record after the cup win was diabolical tbf. Aside from 89, lost to Northampton Town in 90, Cambridge in 92 and needed a replay to get past Wigan in 1991
