Still baffled how he can come out the box and punch it off the strikers foot with zero punishment.

Officials having a shocker

Subjective decisions, I thought Var was meant to dispell them, not actively encourage them?

As supporters we cry out for consistency - 'Officials having a shocker'.
Come on, you can't have it both ways.

Var saying they didn't send him off because it wasn't a goal scoring opportunity.

It wasn't because Henderson punched the fucker away.

Yet dasilva was miles further out and had a keeper to beat.

Impossible.
And that's why it's not got involved for the Henderson handball.

I used to go to school with a kid called Dean Henderson - Whitley Abbey Comp 1977-1982.
I think he left around 1978 (family emigrated?)
Keeping up the tradition of being away from the area.

It comes to something when a pair of buffoons like Rooney and Richards are the voice of reason

It was a possible goalscoring opportunity but not necessarily an OBVIOUS goalscoring opportunity or an obvious error due to the direction of play & the presence of a defender etc.

It probably should have been a red card but once it's not given on field it won't get overturned.

Baffling that Lineker doesn't know the laws of the game given how long he's been involved.

Micah Richards just asked Rooney what you do as a manager when your team is 1-0 up at HT, before he has a chance to answer Lineker says his teams have never been 1-0 up

And half the time it's to protect VAR because its not fit for purpose.
But the genies out the bottle now, it's here to stay.

That's where the allowance for grey area comes in - Rules and laws being two different things.

What’s with the group of palace fans in white shirts behind the goal?

Yeah I thought the same!
Team in sky blue dominating possession and chances, but struggling in final third and then conceding in a counter attack

Especially when the team in sky blue seemingly just keep going wide and popping in crosses patiently.

They're doing eurovision straight after down at South Norwood Con ciub.
They had to check their feather boas in at the gate though.

Just endless, endless, endless moaning about referees and VAR and referees and VAR. Do people even talk about football anymore?

The "Denying an Obvious Goal-Scoring Opportunity" (DOGSO) law in football, also known as the Professional Foul Law, was introduced in 1990...

For Lineker to say he had never heard the "Obvious" part before is embarrassing frankly.
