I remember the last time we had them around 1983? They scored first at Highfield road we won 3-1.

The club should give something back to the fans for this one

Free for season ticket holders
£1 for anyone else

They will make a loss on this game anyway so nothing to lose and might actually get 7 or 8 thousand if they did that

Worcester wouldn't agree to that.

A season ticket is expensive enough for a student without having to pay £10 got a cup game. You'd rather concern yourself with Worcester than with our own fans ?

if thats aimed at me absolutely our fans recently have expected everything at cut price and its just not how football works id suggest a student rate of 6-7 quid but seriously its a saturday afternoon out at the football in england its expensive stuff. free for season ticket holders and £1 everyone else wouldn't cover the cost to put the game on been as we only get 45% (my understanding been both teams get 45% and 10% goes to the host of the tournament someone correct me if im wrong)

I believe Worcester have to agree any reduction from the standard match price.

The £1 is probably extreme admittedly but free for season tickets should be done arsenal do it so why not us and I didn't realise both teams get half of the cut also so apologies there. But I want to get to everygame but the first season paying fully myself for season ticket car park and everything (my dad used to pay part of my season ticket) it's very expensive for a 20 year old and eventually I'll be priced out of the club along with a lot of other student coventry fans. We should take a leaf out of Germans books the fans should be number one and offer the cheapest possible tickets always

your absolutely right with the follow the germans thing football in this country is killing itself through money its amazing that teams like worcester can still function as a business when teams in the football league are crumbling under the financial pressure building above them in the premier league

Arsenal's cheapest season ticket is over a grand isn't it? Ours is £315.

Worcester is a good draw. Local, different, winnable ! Infinitely better than a Preston or Carlisle away type draw.

Fuck would have been a really good away tie. I like Worcester as a place to drink and it would be a great away game to tick off

Any city fans not going to Orient, you can check out the opposition on Saturday when they travel to Leamington for a league game. We also play them away the week after your cup match.

Absolutely gutted when I saw the draw, as Worcester knocked us out of the Cup. Cov v Leamington would have been amazing.

So disappointing we got a home draw. That's 3 home games in 7 days I think. That's going to sting. I must stay away from that blasted casino.

Can't see the Worcester game being anymore than a tenner so hopefully won't be too bad

I thought we won 8-0 but 3-1 sounds familiar now. Did we beat someone 8-0 in the cup around the same time?
Or am I just making that up??

Rushden & Diamonds in the League Cup, 02/03. McSheff got a hattrick, as did possibly somebody else. Bothroyd?

Or Macclesfield 7-0 in the FA Cup in 98/99. Think Huck got a hattrick. Can't remember hammering anybody in around 1983 though. Although I didn't start supporting the club until then so maybe we did.

They are indeed playing at Kiddy. The tything run is the strip of pubs, only a couple of them are any good though! As for Worcester being a good night out... You've obviously never been to Tramps
