Will miss his aerial presence against their long ball tactics but we have adequate replacements. In truth his judgement for their goal was ridiculous, stand still and the cross doesn't get to Forte so it'll be good to get Willis' pace back in the side, particularly when Grimmer is exposed on that right side.

So does this mean that Ameobi won't be available for 3 matches too? After all his elbow to McDonald's bollocks was as bad if not worse that Davies' "stamp" on Saturday! 6 of one half a dozen of the other!

I'd like to also see a ban placed on whoever assaulted Bayliss in the 87th minute to concede the penalty. Fair's fair.

FFS - make sure he appeals, but even then the effect of the appeal may be a reduced ban (one game, down from three) which wouldn't help us for Friday. Hhhmmmm.

No as that wasn’t on live TV and it’s vurtually impossible to have a ban in those circumstances - it was idiotic and Davies hopefully will be fined

He appeals and loses and he will miss Wembley.

Thing in his favour is that he said it was an accident and Duffy accepted that.

Definitely should form his defence.

It does look to me as if he maybe meant it, but I don't think it is clear cut.

Got a fair chance of winning an appeal.

That's perfect. We have a defence of mistaken identity.

That's the wrong Tom.

He can't be punished because it wasn't on live TV?
More like the FA couldn't give a fuck about anything outside of their precious premier league as long as it doesn't affect them, this was bought to national attention so they HAVE to show face! The Ameobi ASSULT hasn't even hit their radar and never will because were just league 2 and of no priority. Even the toilet cleaner at FA HQ is above giving a shit about anything that happens in L2

It’s a three game ban what’s Wembley got to do with it?

I watched it and it seemed to be in his stride. I'm not sure there was any real intent.

Eyeing up the keeper and jumping (shoulder first) into his head is "Just in his stride"? You're having a laugh mate!

Okay. Didn't know that.

Thought it was what was deemed by the panel. Is it set at 3 games then?

Poor from the FA this, half of the Notts County side as well as Lincoln and Wycombe would be banned if they cared to look outside the premier league.

You take that still image and its his heel, for me a stamp would have been the other end and arch of the foot, but that is subjective and I may be biased.

All 3 refs on the panel have to agree, there is hope then with how bad the standard of reffing is!

(3 match ban coming up!)
