Just been speaking to an old acquaintance who works at Burton. Said Brad Collins has probably been their signing of the season, been excellent.

Glad to see him doing well.
Probably be best if he joins permanently as he won't get a look in here. I imagine we will pay up his contract if it's not expiring this summer (I can't remember) or we will get a nominal fee potentially

I think it's up at the end of this season.

I reminder for us all when judging transfers from other clubs to not pay too much attention to their fans. The way we've bleated on about collins, you'd be pushed to think he could make it for Kenilworth Town (and rightly so, it was clear his time here was done and nothing was going to change that).

I've pretty much disregarded any football opinion from Swansea fans going forward.... their opinions on Gyokeres and Grimes have confirmed that they should stick to Rugby.... Football isn't for them

Jordan Shipley in the bomb squad at Port Vale (as is Marco Marosi) and hasn’t played a game for them this season under Darren Moore.

Both easily good enough for division 1...maybe trying to offload them due to cost ?

I had to look up what that sentence meant and fuck me, that's a drop off considering he's still only 30. Was playing Portuguese top flight until last year.

No. Purely sentimental and was not good enough for the Championship when we had him and were fighting to push up in the league...don't think after many years that he will be good enough for a team fighting for the title unfortunately.

Agreed he wasn't up to the Championship, but he should be given credit for one of our best goals since returning to this level v QPR at home
