I thought he had a lot of bottle for his age... in the same way that I was impressed with Jordan Henderson.He always looked like he had the right attributes to be a good modern wing-back. Took a lot of undeserved criticism while he was here, he handled himself well coming into a high-pressure situation at a very young age.
He was always really highly rated at Arsenal but as is the way at the top, sometimes time runs out and they have to make it another way. It's happened before and will happen again. Arsenal also sold Mika Biereth a striker to sturm gratz and 6 months later he went for massive money to Monaco.
