Godden deserves everything he is getting. He had a fine Champ record for us but was quite rightfully overshadowed by Gyok, who was unreal as we all know. Then he had played well but these became rarer last season. He is perfectly good enough for a lower end Champ team, which Charlton will be. He was not good enough anymore for a top end Champ team.

That is perfectly fine as we outgrew him, but he was one of the most important CCFC players in modern history.

I'd like to see Charlton come up as i like to see clubs that fell on hard times start to recover, well most, not all. But Orient would be a fairly local game for me (within half an hour), i actually lived in Leyton once upon a time. Although i'd have to either beg for a ticket from someone on here or get in the home end i'd imagine.
