He'd of been more of a threat than Wright was in the playoff games with Sunderland!Godden deserves everything he is getting. He had a fine Champ record for us but was quite rightfully overshadowed by Gyok, who was unreal as we all know. Then he had played well but these became rarer last season. He is perfectly good enough for a lower end Champ team, which Charlton will be. He was not good enough anymore for a top end Champ team.
That is perfectly fine as we outgrew him, but he was one of the most important CCFC players in modern history.
