The knighthood's on hold, Gareth.Let's be honest though , Italy were the better side , we tried to defend a 1 goal lead onto the second half as if there was 10 minutes left and we didn't react to the subs made by mancini quick enough .. once Italy got ontop we struggled to impose ourselves onto the game at all , were sloppy and quite negative .
I don't know if we will ever have a better chance than that , and can't help but feel the game management was very poor going into the second half and beyond right to the penalties.

Frankly, the comments on here just depress me. We outclassed that team for the first 25 mins, Mancini got his tactics right, and we looked tired. We gave it our all, and we did our best.
