We’ve gone for ‘world class’ managers who have done well in qualifiers and friendlies, but failed to deliver when it matters.

Beating Germany is HUGE psychologically and we really ought to get to a final this time around.

Not read the above but for 70 mins it was pretty turgid…fuck it though we beat Germany 2-0. I was saying to mates shaw should’ve been off at HT and Kane a couple off minutes before he scored. What do I know ?! Grealish (who most of us would’ve picked) changed the game though

In all the excitement me and a mate bought two ticks for QF and then realised its 5 days quarantine in Italy so couldn’t make the game.

Oh well, it’s coming home !

He consistently makes decisions that raise my eyebrows. But, then again, who am I? In the grand scheme of things, I’m a nobody who’s football opinion means very little.

Southgate made a brave decision today that a lot of people had doubts about. Lose, he’s a pariah. Win, he’s a national hero.
