Swansea and West Brom, off the top of my head, also made poor errors that led to goals.Oxford first home game did an MvE.

I don't think any of our fullbacks actually like defending or are very skilled at it.We concede ridiculous goals very frequently. Collins was a big part of that but we’ve done it far too often. Neither of our starting full backs are good positionally which lets teams at us as well
I certainly wouldn't say MvE is a liability but he gave the ball away on the halfway line late in the game against Wednesday back in October, leading to Charles getting their winner.I don’t recall MVE being a liability before yesterday? Yesterday was a shocker but it’s certainly not regular so I think liability is harsh.
I would also argue Thomas is worse on the ball than Kitching.
Well said. What the hell did you just say about van Ewijk, you little liability merchant? I’ll have you know he graduated top of his class in elite Dutch wing-back warfare, and he’s been involved in more tactical raids down the right flank than your brain has cells. He has over 400 confirmed overlaps, is trained in high-speed counter-attacks, and is the top transitional weapon in the Championship. You are nothing to him but another weak, clueless Twitter pundit with a Greggs addiction.
He will wipe you the hell out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before at the CBS. Mark my words. You think you can get away with calling Milan van Ewijk a liability? Think again, cretin. As we speak, my secret network of Sky Blue die-hards are pinging screenshots to group chats, and your post is being turned into a meme. You better prepare for the storm — the storm that repositions your tactical credibility to League Two level.
You’re done. Van Ewijk can be anywhere, anytime, and he can roast an entire back line in over seven hundred ways — and that’s just in second gear. Not only is he extensively trained in defensive recovery and line-breaking sprints, but he has access to Frank Lampards Tactical Codex, and he will use them to dismantle your footballing opinions in a matter of seconds.
If only you’d known what holy retribution your stupid little “he’s a liability” comment was about to unleash, maybe you’d have kept your Tesco-value take to yourself. But no — you had to open your gob. And now Milan’s going to put in a MOTM performance just to spite you. You’ll be sitting there in silence, hoping no one remembers. Milan made one mistake. You make a mistake every time you log on.

exactly, trying to make it easier for MVE, everytime I’ve watched it it’s a horror, just stick it in the stand, 88th bloody minuteWhat did you want him to do? Stand on his goal line? He’s anticipating a pass that actually reaches his feet so of course he comes out
could of been a pre season game or early on but I’m sure robins said that we’d just have to score more goals in games, knew the defence wasn’t good enough, still isn’tThere’s very big near misses every single game. Fortunately all the calamitous plays don’t result in goals.
Not sure I can remember any flawless defensive displays this season.

Just as well players do make a mistake or every game ends 0 v 0. Mistakes are part and parcel of the game and the one thing you can be assured is that the lad who made the mistake last night and was distraught - he will have his time in the sun at some point in the future.I can’t remember many goals that weren’t the result of some dreadful mistake. We concede a lot of goals that aren’t just soft, they’re laughable.
I am beginning to think you’re Astute working a double bluffJust as well players do make a mistake or every game ends 0 v 0. He will be a hero for coventry at some point because what goes around comes around.
Football like life is full of ups and downs. He should just move on.
He scored an own goal when he was Six. Maybe he should get shit for that as wellI certainly wouldn't say MvE is a liability but he gave the ball away on the halfway line late in the game against Wednesday back in October,
By any team…..There’s very big near misses every single game. Fortunately all the calamitous plays don’t result in goals.

Well maybe Burnley

That's what I had seen. Can’t find any stats but can find an image from last season (only keepers)

Of course Brad Collins number 1
He won't be a hero for coventry, because if we don't get promotion this season, he'll be gone. That's football.Just as well players do make a mistake or every game ends 0 v 0. The only thing I could think he could have done slightly better is anticipate the ball won't get to him and get back in the box to allow him to handle it rather than try to tackle him. But honestly the main mistake was MVE but he's been so consistent all season he certainly doesn't deserve a panning.
Not seen it back yet but could Wilson have brought the player down? Their player was outside the box so there wouldn't have been a penalty as a result, although Wilson could obviously then have been sent off, and we'd have had Collins back in goal in his place!
I meant that it was a similar sort of mistake. He's an excellent player though: first name on the teamsheet kind of thing, eh?He scored an own goal when he was Six. Maybe he should get shit for that as well
