My Favourite Outfield player and such a talented lad

He may soon be a premier league player and if we get promoted in the space of 10 years will have gone from playing on loan in the isthmian league with the metropolitan police to playing for barnet in the national league , posh in league 1 and being a huge part of coventry city being promoted to the premier league

Thats a remarkable achievement and rewards talent and dedication

Btw what a steal for 5 million pounds

Thinking of that Peterborough group that everyone wanked over, EMC has ended up being by far the best of them. Clever recruitment again.
The lad that essentially replaced him at Posh actually looks a good young talent too. Kevin Lisbies son.

Really the recruitment was excellent werent it , took 3 years of maturing and a top tier coaching team to bring it to fruition

I've agreed with your stance for a while that I think EMC could transition to the Prem as well as anyone currently on our books. The strength alone counts for a lot.

And to think people said we had our pants pulled down by loaning him back

Last year some said 4.5m was too much to boot

Still remember when Robins was sacked, Doug on talksport saying he hoped EMC would get more time.

Absolutely flown under Lampard and keeps getting better. 100% hope to see him start next year and develop further
Memory is hazy but I think emc scored 4-5 in the first few games under lampard didn't he?

Rudi as well flourished. Not sure MR knew what to do with them

Not to reopen the robins wound. But I think they both needed a more hands on manager to get belief into them. I think Adi used to do all the more hands on training at the club.

Seemed to me that they felt a bit isolated from Robins especially when they say that Lampard feels more a part of the squad ( comment was made in regards to giving it back to opposition)

I've definitely bought in to @Hobo theory about him playing more centrally.
He's the best back to goal player in the squad, his hold up play is better than Wright and Simms, we're going to need that next season.

Dont forget alot these players once we are promoted will trigger large payments to their previous clubs. Posh no doubt would have put that in contract.

Likely fee paid will be well over £5M

The only aspect of his game that I worry about in relation to the step up to the Prem is his pace. Biggest weakness in his game for me is that he’s not very effective on the counter and struggles to beat a man 1v1 when he’s running directly at them. Fantastic 1v1 or even 1v2 on the wing and brilliant with his back to goal.

Can't remember a player with better ability to control a ball in almost any circumstance, no matter what the angle. And with all that upper body strength keep possession.
