If we kept our best players and brought in quality where needed we would be in a good position if we went straight back down. Pur 1st team and reserve players would be better than we have now.
True, although I have a feeling the club might be sold if we do get promoted.
It would make sense for Doug to sell then as the club and facility would be at its highest value, and he might look to cash out and let someone with deeper pockets take over.
(No idea who's out there though, maybe American or Saudi investors?)

We can only guess what would happen next. It looks like we've had extra investment so how much control does he still have? Are these people waiting to take control after promotion?
That's all for the future. Not too worried about playing a guessing game when we've still got promotion to finalise. Bring in a rich owner = give it a go otherwise be very wise.
The other weakness with EMC going into the Premier League is he is so one footed and lacks skill in the one on one. Okay he is strong but players in the Premier League have a lot of upper body strength. I am not going to write him off but I think he will struggle, or at least on the wing. I think his future is through the middle as a striker.
Looking at his strengths, he reminds me more of Cyril Regis rather than a natural winger.

Out & out winger. Leave him there.
& scorer of vital goals.
Notably our only goals versus Stoke Bristol City Soton ( 7pts ).
Cheers Ephron , keep doing it.
