Enough is enough - Friday is D-day

If by this Friday there has been no concrete action from sisu to return to the Ricoh e.g. dropping the JR appeal, paying the £590k owed to acl and setting up a meeting to agree a return, kcic will conclude we are not returning to the Ricoh for the new season and sisu are choosing to remain at NTFC.

We desperately hope we are wrong, but the last few days have all the hallmarks of a typical sisu spin campaign - raising hopes of progress while their strategy and tactics sadly don't change at all.

Enough said.

Why wait til Friday?

I personally can't believe that so many keep taking them at their word.

Thanks for that.... you know full well that even if SISU did drop the JR appeal today that not all of those conditions could be met by Friday.

Stop talking shit.

Why not?

CHAPS transfer today would arrive by tomorrow. Give the judge a call to call off the JR, then drop an email/phone call/snapchat to ACL to set up a meeting. Seems possible to me.

The monies transfer is not in SISU's control is it? The FL are controlling that part now. So it would involve the FL being part of that arrangement wouldn't it?

Only because Sisu asked them too. Nothing actually stopping them paying it is there? I seriously doubt the FL would complain.

If the money is indeed under the FL control then ACL may be willing to accept that in the process of being paid *or at least out of SISU's hands?

I'm already resigned to the fact that Sisu plan to start the season at sixfields.
They may have played a bit of lip service to the fans to make it look good and that they are trying so as to keep the football league onside.
But nothing has changed !
Sisu's tactics are unable to return ccfc to the Ricoh.
The only way now is to force them out unless your happy to be at sixfields for the next five seasons.
The march applied pressure now we need to apply pressure at sixfields with demonstrations.

Exactly... this is why that part of their conditions should be waived. Now it's up to SISU to drop the appeal.

Why would you do that? If the money is with the FL why can you not take that as sufficient?

I didn't say it wasn't sufficient. You said it couldn't be done I pointed out it could is all.

I think it's funny that so many accept Sisus ridiculous rationale, but agree it shouldn't be a stopper in negotiations. But then there's no evidence it is, is there? I mean outside of a few posters on here with an agenda.

So Michael is not talking shit then. A simple phone call to say they are withdrawing the appeal and an email to the FL to say that the money can be released to ACL immediately.

Why can that not be done by Friday, I am sure the FL want this to end as soon as possible (as we all do) so this can be cleared up very quickly, the only stumbling block is whether Sisu want it to be over quickly.............

Who said the money is with the FL or that they've put £590k in?

They just said they have the money in an account to cover their "obligations". Only Sisu can access that money, so it's still up to them to pay if/when the FL decide how much. All that's happened is they've got a few weeks reprieve while the FL take their sweet time.

The point I was trying to make is that even if ACL and SISU agree to get together - you are then waiting on a third party.

Also.. I don't see why Michael making a statement on the situation is of any importance or consequence. It's not his call is it?

Last week the football league said just that.

Why do they have to drop the JR and pay £590K by Friday, they didn't have to last week when your offer was on the table.

What happens when Friday comes and goes then? Campaign for AFC Coventry? The only thing that might speed SISU up is when they finally realise the supporters hold all the power. They were warned about the sub 2000 gates at Northampton after all...

D-day refers to the day a combat attack begins. My money's on Michael turning up at Sisu HQ with a bucket of confetti. Honk honk!

I personally think Michael has been used as a puppet in all of this and it has been unfair, he was going about things in the right way before, but unfortunately the people in the background advising Michael are part of the problem and always have been, could not even put an offer on letter headed paper before, was around in the Mcginnity and Richardson era's who started this landslide, and worked for Sisu before, hell even one of them knocked on peoples homes begging for them to accept Sisu's offer when they brought us out.

Sorry Michael and who follow Michael wishing for him to be the knight in shining armour but you too are being sold down the river, just like Sisu are doing to the fans.

Limey, I am absolutely in agreement with you on this.

I would be absoloutely ecstaic if by Friday all had been resolved and we were heading home (or at least plans were in place for that) but I am realistic and dont expect that, so if Friday is D-Day and nothing happens what then?

TODAY IS D-DAY!!!

I've got a wasps nest above my back door.....If the pest controllers don't get it sorted by end of business today, JHFC can only conclude we are not returning to the Ricoh for the new season and sisu are choosing to remain at NTFC.

The offer never had legs as crowds would be over 5k, a real offer if SISU have said the rent is not the issue we need match day revenues, would be to offer circa £1M put into an escrow and split over a year to cover any match day revenues, as well as ACL offering 50% of match day revenues to prop it up for the club, and in order to ensure the monies were going to the development of the club, then a separate account could be set up,with a fair new rental agreement with the view of a permanent return to the Ricoh.

Sadly, this will never happen, as Michaels "backers" knew all along they would not spend anything as crowds would be over 5K every single game.

And how do you know to be able to make this claim ?

Any with an IQ of greater than one can work it out - which is why the likes of you and Tony can't.

Michael made a mug of you.

How could this offer have worked if acl weren't consulted and acl came out with the conditions, it shows that acl hadn't confirmed their part of the offer doesnt it?

I agree unfair on Michael as I may not agree with a lot of what he says sometimes but you can't doubt his passion. Which seems to have been taken advantage of doesn't it?
