I’ve spent 45 odd years loving this club and feeding on scraps of glory. I know there’s work to be done....but lets soak this in.

I can’t even remember how many times in those years that we lost and it ruined my weekend...then not wanting to acknowledge football even existed and refusing to watch any televised games afterwards.

In all those years (‘87 included) I don’t think I can recall being so proud of our club. What an amazing effort, what an amazing ride.

It’s finally our time

Couldn’t agree more mate. I still can’t get my head around having a successful team ( so far)

59 years of supporting Cov. This the best season for me

Edit: 50 years - I am “only” 54

Smug as fuck right now but still worried we will mess it up.
And that's the problem with football, we can't really let go of the worry that it is still possible to fall away so we don't savour these times. If we go up it will be momentarily glory then preparing ourselves for a hard season ahead in the championship.

A big factor has been the stability of the team since the turn of the year in particular
All our established players have stayed fit so Robins hasn't had to cope with enforced absences
Long may it continue

I wasn’t genuinely nervous or worried at any point today and I haven’t really been all season. Wether that’s the fact we are really good or I somehow care less than I used to is up for debate. Either way. Champions league in 3 years

I so wish I could be like you. That's the most stressed I've been for a very long time.

I'm just loving the fact that we are in control of our own destiny as much as anything else. How many times in the past have we needed a favour, relying on other teams results to help us out. This season, we are top and if we keep winning we can't be caught. We are there on merit and we are the only ones who can take it away

Obviously worried about us messing up.... Nervous and stressed at games now too!... however, more worried about the effect that Coronavirus could have on the season. Robins even mentioned it before they cut him off for W***a. Talk today of prohibiting large gatherings....

I can’t enjoy it. This level of quality football and wins has me more anxious than a relegation dogfight.

I was nervous before game but not during it. Thought our midfield and defence controlled the game. Yes they may have had a bit more possession but didn’t test Marosi all afternoon. Felt as the game went on we were always the more likely to score.

I've banged the drum since before the season started that we would go up, and a good likelyhood automatically. Why? Becuase of MR's good work, the backing of a somewhat reformed SISU, very good recruitment and the addition of Adi Vivash. I even thought playing away at Birmingham woud take pressure off us, and so it has proven along with a superior pitch to the Ricoh's rugger field. There is no better team in this league than us.
Will we lose any in the final run in? Yes a couple maybe becuase that's football, but we have every chance of being Champions. As for the Championship, we could more than hold our own there now. MR's will strengthen a few positions, the club will probably be back at the Ricoh, and SISU will take their final punt to get us in the top 6 which has been their exit strategy since learning their lessons the hard way. The city of culture will be better for it, and even the council may see sense with incentives in finding a new place to build a ground (under new ownership) or perhaps WASP realizing they are better off sharing the Ricoh on far more encouaging terms, leading to stronger share in much higher footfall, and sponsorships with way more exposure. FIRST WE HAVE TO GO UP......

Afraid it's going that way.

Today was the first time in years i was proper nervous..The game wasn't great but was so important, more so than Rotherham. Our free flowing football has gone out of the window as it's the business end of the season..I'm 52 btw and am loving it right now

Did I hear right that after a scuffle between Raheem Sterling and Trezeguet that “players aren’t supposed to be shaking hands, because of things going on in the world” (Coronavirus)

That was the case at Newcastle yesterday.
