On 20th August several of Coventry's finest live bands are coming together in support of the Ewart family and putting on a gig in memory of Emma.

The proceeds of this gig will go to the Ewart family to go into a Trust Fund for Caitlin, Emmas 7 year old daughter.

This is a relatively early gig as we have a 10:30pm live music curfew so make sure you're there from the start.
...

The bands that will be playing are:

This Modern Youth 8-8:30pm

Opening the night we have a young rock n' roll band that strips you bare so you're dancing in your stained y-fronts. Young indie lads packing a punch with a promising future.

Shackletons 8:40-9:10pm

The folk fire stoking, slide guitar stroking boys of the county hell bring some rip roaring feel good tunes to get the venue partying with a sexy country rock groove.

The Pockets 9:20-9:50pm

The Ferris led wolf pack will be treating lucky audience members to a rare ripped apart and stripped back dose of the quirk within quality that are The Pockets.

Mourning Becomes Electra 10-10:30pm

The 'cooper temple clause meets the verve' four piece have reformed to play one last gig for this cause. Armed with the rhythmic drive of Robinson and Corkerry combined with the soaring guitars of Evans and the angst and beauty of Orton the final tip of the MBE cap should be a great ending to an unforgettable night.

Entry = £4

Doors = 7:30pm

First band = 8pm
