So he's abysmal?His record is 1 in 4 in this league, same as Simms, but he's older and he's done his ACL not that long ago. If data shows his hold up play is above average and that he's good at what Lampard wants a striker to do, I get it. Otherwise, don't see the point binning off someone we have to make room for him.

We've certainly has more hits than misses recently.This is it Chris, we can all speculate, but as has been said before, we are fans not football recruitment experts. I trust CCFC to do the right thing and bring in the right players, we just have to wait and see

What are you basing that on?He's also better in the air than Simms or BTA and can play with his back to goal, which none of our strikers are capable of doing.

He is appalling in the air. He rarely even attempts to jump for headers, just backs into defenders & often fouls them instead.
Simms won 41.8% of his aerial duels last season (82nd percentile)
Riis won 30.3% (14th percentile)
