3million people marching they reckon. I can't see the image in the centre of the flag, but dead centre is a ST.Georges cross with CCFC on it.

Heard racism at a game for the first time today. Woman behind me calling a Norwich player “a fucking golliwog”

What scum are doing to this country is a disgrace. Make racists quiet again.

Of course they were, devastated that it turned out to be nice and peaceful. It looked like the antifa thugs were trying to cause trouble at one point all masked up

Not all of them, I'm sure. But the pro-Israel, pro-Putin, convicted fraudster, thug, serial liar, and Muslim-hating ex-con, Tommy "two names" Robinson, that they're cheering on, surely fits that description. Are you a fanboy of his too, or is he not enough of a nonce for you?

BBC are reporting 100,000.

I don't have any problem with people all gathering and meeting up and it supposedly being in the name of patriotism and loving their country or whatever. I do have a problem with it being organised by Tommy Robinson, a convicted criminal (mortgage fraud, assault, football hooliganism, use of a false passport, stalking and harassment and two cases still to be heard) and one of the speakers being Steve Bannon, a convicted felon in the US (contempt, fraud, conspiracy, money laundering).

Can't they get law-abiding, decent public figures onboard?

Never once have I said I’m a fan of his, what’s wrong with people having a march because they love their country? You wouldn’t know that would you.

Tbh I don’t think speaking with someone who doesn’t want safe spaces for women is the best thing and is ok with blokes using women’s toilets.

Nice to see Elon Musk really reach out to the middle ground to try and lower the temperature of political discourse right now - these right wingers really do seem like they just want everyone to get along!

“violence is going to come to you, you will have no choice. You’re in a fundamental situation here. Whether you choose violence or not, violence is coming to you. You either fight back or you die, that’s the truth, I think.”

Oh bless, your medication is messing with your memory again. I never actually said that.

Frankly though, if it was a choice between having a fucking nonce and convicted sex pest like your hero Trump stood next to my daughter in the ladies loos, or a trans women, I think I know which I'd consider safer. Only one person I know has said "just grab 'em by the pussy", so your pretence you give a shit about women's rights is completely undone by you being his fanboy.

As for loving your country, I can do that without flag shagging, hating people of a different race or religion, or scrapping with the police.

My way of doing it is to try to behave like a decent human being, help my neighbours and community where I can, and not be a scruffy, intimidating, littering lout, who thinks they've got the right to do what they want where they want, and fuck what anybody else thinks - because, y'know it's their country innit.

Anyway, why would you go on a march where Tommy Robinson is the centre of attention and the main speaker if you didn't support him? That's as fake as saying hanging flags is just about patriotism and nothing else.

What's even worse than cunts like Robinson, are the cowards who turn out to cheer him on, and then claim it's just about loving their country rather than sharing his beliefs. Bottle-less fuckers, scared to admit what they really believe.

Well, that's the main thing that worries me about this march yesterday. As I said, I don't mind people gathering to wave the flag and celebrate our country, but when you look at the organisers and speakers at this event, doesn't that make people go "oh, hang on, this isn't for me?"

Musk, Tamaki, Katie Hopkins. Laurence Fox, Tommy Robinson, Steve Bannon.

Not a right un among the lot of them.

If it was someone with more gravitas and respect, I would sit up and listen, but did hundreds of thousands of people turn up to hear speeches from this bunch of far right lunatics and criminals?

Keep out of it definitely, the immigration issue is being hijacked by Zionist sympathisers. It is of far wider concern to the majority. Here is some drone footage of the demo it is massive, 3 million is bullshit but it's probably 200,000 ( the police always downplay numbers).

The government seriously has to act on immigration, especially the boats or they're heading for trouble. Maybe of course that's what they want so they can make identity cards compulsary, a very un British concept that Churchill campaigned on ending in 1951 (because Atlee's post war government kept them and rationing in place for years) and won the election.

I know there are some fierce critics on this forum of people who turn up to protests with homemade signs. This one is a beauty

Musk calls for new UK government at far-right rally in London

“You either fight back or you die,” Musk says via video link to demonstration organized by far-right activist Tommy Robinson.

I agree, but unfortunately, the normal, everyday person on the street, that has had enough and wants change, doesn't have many options.

For so many years now, the left have gaslit everyone to a point that nobody is left willing to put their neck on the line bar the extremes.

For years, the left told us there were no illegal dinghy's arriving on the shores, and that it was made up shit by the right to stir up a frenzy. We could see with our own eyes this wasn't true and they were arriving. Gaslighting us.

Then, when they finally did admit to the boats, they were gaslighting us again, saying it was all women and children. Again, people could see this wasnt true!

Then they finally realised it wasnt, then called us all racist for being against the numbers of illegals entering!

The average person wanting change has been gas lit and called racist that much, they've dissapeared. Now, all that's left to rally are the extreme right wingers like Tommy Robinson and Katie Hopkins.

Unfortunately, politics now only seems to deal in hard left and hard right. Normal, centre leaning voters, are slammed as far left or far right by the opposite group of which they lean. Centre right leaning voters have been accused to a point of silence for years. They now have somebody speaking for them. Its just a shame the only people able/willing to do so, are the extreme far right.

Not sure that's true tbh, at least not on here. Most people are open to a debate. Sure there's a couple of posters who try to derail it, along with pretty much every thread, but most people are up for a sensible debate.

The biggest problems seems to be getting to grips with the differences between illegal immigration, asylum seekers, refugees, family reunions & economic migrants. Alongside that some people seem to just refuse to accept the data on immigration is correct.

You're mixing in the wrong circles. I would say pretty much everyone in my family and friendship groups, leans to the left and I have never heard any of them talk like that. Like ever.

I think the vast majority of the population has a concern over the numbers of people coming to our shores though, for sure

I would just advise anyone who thinks that Farage has the answer, to think again.

He always pretends he has the answers, but is just full of bullshit and hot air.

As it gets hotter and hotter across the globe, I can see more people fleeing their countries and heading to wherever is a little cooler.

You're missing the point, the categories are less important than the huge numbers which is changing the character of the country and although some people are open to that the majority is not, they might not voice it openly but I think that's the case.

What has net immigration been on the last 5 years?

2020 93K, 2021 484K, 2022 873K, 2023 860K, 2024 431K, 2025 ? Sum 2.7 million!
This isn't simply compensating for lower birth rates it must be a policy decision one which wasn't voted for.

That’s not really true. Boris won the 2019 GE by a massive landslide and therefore a massive mandate. Part of their manifesto was to change immigration requirements post Brexit to what let in so many people in. Side stepping all that people didn’t know what they voted argument I think the truth is Boris and his advisers didn’t have a clue what they were doing and what their policies actually meant in real terms. Just think how much worse those figures from 2020 onwards would have been had Covid not landed curbing mobility. It should be a lesson on trusting politicians, especially those with word salad slogans offering dumbed down solutions to complicated problems.
