Hitting on it, but then she said "I'm married... To Elliott"?

Thought Elliott was excellent. His movement was good, runs into the channels and occupying defenders, and obviously two good goals.

He was clearly knackered towards the end though, thought ROD did a decent job of holding the ball up, even if that isn't his natural game.

To be honest she did look like a wag (stereotype) there was no way she'd been to the game on her own just for the sake of it!
She started talking about the game and it went from there, if you know what I mean!

Surely we should learn our lesson from not playing Baker v PNE!? McG to start 10/10, lets not kid ourselves, Elliott was shit 1st half, he was literally holding us back. I'm glad he proved me wrong, when I asserted "he will not score!" fair play to him.

McG is top goalscorer, enough said.

How was Elliot holding us back? The only time he touched the ball was when he tried holding it up after we had hoofed it clear he had no chances to do anything. Lets also not Kid ourselves McG is leaving and we need to get somebody else on form before he goes so someone can come into the team.

But I do think both should start but I will agree and be 110% behind whoever plays

Elliott might not be that sharp Tuesday, he did seem spent when he went off, and with him not playing many games of late, I can't see him starting against Shrewsbury.
But I can see him coming on as a sub at some point though.

We are playing well with one up front, so I don't believe we will change formation to let both play up front at the same time.

1st half he was, well, weren't winning anything in the air, didn't really make himself available, looked low on confidence and looked like he lacked match fitness, I hope he does well though, as with every CCFC player.

He won what he should have in the air against 6ft 4 defenders when he's only like 5ft 10 how can you make yourself available when we didn't get it near him often and he made some great runs but was never picked out, how do you know he looked low on confidence? He was on the other side of the pitch, he does lack match fitness obviously.

Name me one useful thing he did in the 1st half...

He lacked the confidence to drop a little deeper and ask for the ball, we didn't play with an AMC today, so he had to do more, in a sense, he didn't make 'great runs' he'd make a run, but the player with the ball would be too far away or surrounded by 3 players.

He held it up when wood or edge cleared it meaning that players could re position themselves, he should have been picked out by Adams when the cb were both out of position and Elliot was in acres of space. When we weren't getting stuck in he came back and helped out defensively as well
