I'm with you. I have always liked that design. Simplified but still retains some core elements.
However, I also recognize that as an American, I may be a bit predisposed to that style of crest. I am the last one to get any input on the matter of any wholesale change.

Having slept on this, I’ve realised that the power has clearly gone to King’a head and he’s looking to franchise us in America.
First we had the signing of Haji Wright; King’s transatlantic drawl that even Clive started to copy and now this new Americanised badge.
