What cunts, they are just trying to get failure and shit performances rewarded.

Same as Southend not wanting to go down.

It's all a load of shit, if any other team was in our position their fans would want promotion and an end to this uncertainty with no playing out the rest of the season, (we would still win it anyway IMO)
Also think if we don't get promoted from where we stand in the league, then neither should Leeds get promoted nor wba, unless they play out the season, ridiculous as well I know but neither should Liverpool be given the title, again unless they play out the season according to what I've read from some fans and mental owners as non have mathematically won their corresponding leagues.

Absolute wankers the new CEO Rodwell has already screwed 3 clubs up,Boston,Notts County and Scunny, he should fit in well there. Yesterday wanted other teams to play on even though it might bankrupt them, he said tough luck, now he wants the PFA to pay for tests??? the feckers aint got a pot to piss in. EFL should tell him to do one

It's nothing but a soundbite unfortunately.
EFL will cover the upfront cost but deduct it back from the clubs' solidarity payments.

Sunderland only have themselves to blame for being 7th. If they had won against Bristol Rovers on 10 March (not too much to ask is it) they would be 3rd and would now be pushing for PPG at all costs. Instead they laid an egg (matter of fact they trounced Bristol Rovers 3-0 just a few weeks before at the end of Feb). Even some Sunderland fans don't think they deserve anything from this season and agree they are shite.

So they could fall out the places, or could get promotion. Momentum is lost now and it is a restart for all teams.

It is gamble. However, they are in the playoff positions and guaranteed a spot if the season is ended right now.

Of course, as could all 4 of them, I was genuinely curious why you picked Fleetwood as I thought they looked very unlikely to drop out at point of stoppage and really fancied themselves to push for auto.

Fleetwood had lost once in 19 games and looked the most likely imo to grab second spot behind us... If a playoff situation happened I'd pick Fleetwood for promotion

Might just be 2 games if they play a neutral semi?

So 2 options then... Start or stop with playoffs remaining 4 teams and relegation as usual..
In my humble opinion, the season is over

Is there actually any indication of when the vote will be?

Inclined to agree that season is over. 4 teams currently in the playoffs under PPG will take that. I can see 6 teams that would obviously back season restarting, highly doubt another 6 would join them.

Just checking I've got this right. There will be a vote to accept these as the new regulations and then assuming that passes a vote on if this season should be ended now?

For the vote to change the regulations is it 51% in each division or 51% overall?

The press release says clubs need to vote on the proposed regulation changes?
The various proposals and counter proposals received from Clubs have been reviewed and, as a result, the Board has finalised the draft framework that would be adopted into EFL Regulations, in the event that a division is to make the decision to curtail its season as League Two indicated last Friday.

Clubs are now required to give the matter further consideration, before the Board formally proposes the appropriate Regulation changes, which will then be voted on by all Clubs.

Even if they vote for a continuation there is absolute no guarantee it would actually happen. I'd say there is a very good chance that we're up.

If they end the season it will be on unweighted ppg, I guess that's a regulation change. In terms of no relegation/extended play off scenarios, that is a no go

The posters seem fairly accepting regarding Cov going up. I wonder how long that will last? The majority say that Sunderland blew it.

Ha, the one saying ending it on PPG means nowt! Wonder if he’d say that if his team were 7 points clear of the play offs with a game in hand?
