Yeah, it's a fair point.

Best scenario is Wasps fail and bugger off back down south.

Maybe they let us stay at the Ricoh if we build them their own stadium in Barnet or something and swapsies when done.

So where does that leave CCFC even after SISU have gone? This is why it's really not that straight forward when people say "The EFL should just strip the golden share and hand it to somebody else".

I guess a ground share with Wasps until we are in the Champions League and only three men and his dog are watching matches with the funny shaped ball.

Telegraph:
Is there any land suitable for a stadium development in the local authority area?

Council:
"Nothing was identified in the Coventry Local Plan passed by Council last year. That is not to say it could not happen."

Agree. All three options are really unpalatable.

50 miles is death for many in any case.

I voted A. Cant see a new stadium (if one was being built) to be done in 3 years and theres no way another MK Don's will ever be able to happen, otherwise I'd have chosen B.

Anyone who chooses C needs to have a long hard look at themselves.

Voted B, as didn't want a 'no deadline option' (i.e. A) and Option C - I couldn't vote to kill our club (much as I want SISU gone)

Have to agree though, where has this 50 mile figure appeared from (crazy, and will kill it for a lot). That's why I think if we are forced to move, there needs to be a binding deadline. I do worry about the impact on management and playing squad as well.

50 miles!!!! They could be looking at Burton then. As I imagine we'd only be taking 2/3k.

What a silly survey question.

I don't believe they will build a new stadium. Even if somehow they did it would be cheap and too small going forward.
WASP will have difficulties sustaining their position and would like a share with CCFC long term settled.
Somehow the sides have to come together.
Just remember, CCFC will not always be 'owned' by SISU. The best way to be rid of SISU is a long term deal at the Ricoh and a couple of sweeteners with caveats added to their departure point.

I don't get this one.

"hopefully" without SISU? Imagine being kicked out of the league with nowhere to play in Coventry still. It just means a ground share in non league.

It's quite dangerous really as there should have been more explanation so that people understood what is meant by it.

C doesn't necesarily mean bust. It could just mean being accepted into the National league groundsharing with sisu as opposed to potentially in the championship groundsharing with sisu.

The type of question the EFL asking suggest they believe the divide between the parties involved is an impossible situation to resolve within the time they need to plan for next season. Its not very appetizing is it, but its our reality, i would imagine most would vote B, but its just kicking can down the road in many ways. The EFL have no power so even if in 3 years time they say right back home the owners can just state the same claim and give the same broken promise they did 5 years ago. Ultimately the EFL will be asking those who followed again or saying well thousands travel out of town to watch a home game lets just let the bastard club stay.

In my opinion its not a Coventry club or team, same as most do not recognize Wasps as anything other than a London club. Sad but this is the road we have been going down for a long time and one where at some point this time was going to come. If the EFL let this move happen again the current owners will be a position to never come back and that is what fans and EFL should really consider.

No these cocks more than likely won’t build a new stadium, but long term we do need our own.

If they’re not allowed to relocate temporarily then there will be no more club for a new owner to takeover

50 miles can be done in an hour, it might prove easier to get to for some than the Ricoh, for example it takes me 30 mins from Wyken including getting parked. 50 miles also provides more options. Answer B as the club would have to commit to returning home.

Again no one voting C is trying to kill the club, they’re trying to make Sisu/Wasps make a deal.

Wonder how many of the people declaring 50 miles a disgrace had no problem with Wasps being moved 90 miles.

I voted A.

I dont agree with playing chicken and I hope a groundshare wouldn’t kill the club.

But I can appreciate not everyone holds those two beliefs.

Well it is... can’t afford to stay at current stadium, may need to move away to stay alive?
