Easiest start to the season (1 Viewer)

[2024/25 League 1 Champs?]

according to Opta, we have the easiest start of all the teams in our league…

interesting (assuming the deeper shade the more difficult) that we appear to be seen on a par with Ipswich, Leicester and maybe Southampton, and Sheff Utd are the most difficult fixture.

anyway just thought I’d share, no real point being made other than we should be in a decent position after the first few rounds, although nothing we didn’t already know!

Obviously its not season over if we're not in the top 6 after 10 games as we've learnt from the past few seasons.

Having said that we've sacked a manager for not starting seasons well, started the first game with only one player who wasn't here last season and the general consensus is the fixtures have fallen kindly for us.

We really should be looking to start the season well for a change instead of making things difficult for ourselves.

yeah fair point, although surely it takes into account new signings at and to the point the table is compiled?
