And yet Portsmouth is a difficult place to go to apparently

Perhaps they mean due to road works!

Also shows that Ipswich and Southampton will/should start climbing the table soon.

Just what I was about to say. It's blatantly obvious the underlying numbers dont lie and over the season

Top 3 will be Ipswich/Southampton and Coventry. These stats tell a story.

We really do need to get about 9 points ahead of Southampton before they sort their shit out.

I think Leicester's stats are more interesting. Perhaps a case of over-performing? Will be interesting to see what happens with them, especially once the inevitable injuries hit.

Leicester's attacking stats are showing their dependency on long range shots, from Fatawu, Mavididi and James

Mavididi hasn't scored this season but yeah how many goals is it from outside the box this season for them? 6? Out of a total of 13.

Close them down early and you're limiting them massively. On the whole it's not a particularly difficult threat to stamp out really either.

stats are not showing the fact , that not only are we first in most, we are really a whole division ahead
If we dont score in the next 6 we will probably still be top scorers!!
if we lose the next 6 3-0 we will still be top half and have a positive goal difference

We just have to enjoy it. We will inevitably lose games this season and have a sticky patch. We may also not have the legs to keep up with autos contention but we’re clearly a very good team for this level and are going to have a great season.

also we have played 3 games against top 8 teams and got 7 points
if we had lost them all
Leicester would be on 17 points
Millwall would be on 17 points
Qpr would be on 18 points
we would be on 12 points

we are picking up some very good results against some very good teams

As I stated on post 27 here

Same Stage Last Season

There were 2 teams on 19pts. City had 8 points and had a -3 GD
www.skybluestalk.co.uk
Leicester would be on 18. They are on 16 now, they would have got 2 extra points if they beat us.
