We seem to have scored early , then decided to play safe and let teams have a crack last couple of games. Confident in our ability to hold them out. don’t know if this is a conscious thing or just an natural reaction given where we are and the strengths we have built into this team... but not sure my nerves can take it for another 10 matches!
Years gone by I’d have been berated the team for being gutless and thinking it was only a matter of time before the oppposotion equalise and even win! And to be fair that is what would have happened! But without doubt it’s different now... almost like the old 1-0 to the arsenal.
If we are still doing this in April then it will be a real test when we come up against free scoring Peterborough and oxford
loving the journey this season though and honestly say that I’ve not enjoyed a team as much as this one across a season... the ‘entertainers’ season with hadji, Keane and chippo etc was prob last one close
