In his 1st spell with us, I saw us play at Piswich when Doyle, off the ball, elbowed one ot theirs in the forehead. Ref stopped the game and we feared the worst.... Ref produces a yellow card and shows it to the Ipswich player. Very fair in my opinion !
Nowhere near a red, but it was a cynical action that should have been a free kick and a yellow card. Then we would have scored from the resultant free kick and would have got confidence from that, then torn you to pieces as you chased the game.
