A win on Monday and things will look totally different. We are also due a bit of luck as nothing has gone out way recently. Penaltys not given, poor refereeing decisions in general, hitting the woodwork and it not going in or rebounding to one of our players, goal mouth scrambles and it not dropping to one of our players etc.

Just need a game where luck goes out way, get a win and the confidence comes back.

We didn't have a bad start to the season.
Last season we went on a great run then fell off
We were unbeaten until the end of October!
We actually dropped off end of last season away from home but remained strong at home.
i know
I’m saying the start of this season was him turning it around
He needs to do it again within the season
He surely can’t think doing the same thing will hopefully just turn things around
Madness if so

As bad as its made out to be and yet win our next 2 and we would be 4 points clear before Boro kicked off again.

Controversial but if we don’t go up I don’t want Lampard here going into the summer window.

he has 1 yr left on his contract and will jump at the first premier league job that’s available to him.. I’d rather have a new gaffer for the summer window with the churn of players we will lose
Even if we don’t go up, you’re deluded if you think King is going to sack a manager who will have met his target of getting into the play-offs two years in a row.

He sacked off the last one that was on track to meet his target and met his target of a cup run. I think you’re right but only because he’s Kings man not because of performance.

I can't be arsed to go over it again but we weren't on track for the play-offs when MR was sacked.

If you sack a manager who's got us into the play-offs two seasons in a row, the new manager's target has to be automatic promotion, which is completely unrealistic for a club in our situation.

Still think Lampard will leave of his own accord if we don't go up but I suppose we'll see.

Exactly, wev‘e got into the play offs twice on the last day of the season, and finished 5th & 6th, big ask to go up from there, hopefully worst case we’ll be 3rd or 4th, it’d be gutting missing out from where we were, but could quite easily be the form team in the play offs, go into them on the back of a great run, look at it as we’ve still got 2 chances of going up, I’d take that

Anyone know if the relationship with doug and Frank is okay since Bamford or is it strained now?

Just need a good performance Monday, draws ok, but we’ll win, West Brom’s the test, it’ll show if we’ve really got it in us for autos
Agree. A Boro draw would not be a disaster at all.

A really good performance would give us such a boost too. Would definitely take a draw and a decent performance.

We would then surely go to the Hawthorns in confidence. We have to believe we are confident enough to beat anyone

How the fuck would we know?
Well I do get little snippets, but as I sleep in the middle, it's very difficult for them to lean over me to talk to each other, but I do know that Doug's wife has piles at the moment and that Christine is mulling over a new Burberry handbag.

I haven't picked up on any Banf conflict or consternation. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Maybe I will take my earmuffs off next time and I will end up better informed.

,4 months ago it was us the best team in the league, then it was Ipswich now mboro, we’re still that team just need to find it again, finding some form now would be perfect timing, mboro have had to be 100% just to catch us, they won’t keep that up for 15 games, 4 points from the next 2 will do, but wouldn’t be surprised if we get 6

Don’t need to be smoking anything but it takes the edge of the last 2 months, wev‘e not even been that bad just Aren’t making enough chances to win games away, oxford was just one of those games, EMC and Asante play we win that, asantes been a huge miss, don’t be surprised we’ll be a lot better when he’s back, and you can tell Onyeka is a brilliant signing, we’ll be fine, we’ve just been having a rest ready for these last 15 games

Or just winning the playoffs.
