An average concert costs £50 at small venues. No concessions. These purchasers are occasional buyers. It’s £250 minimum for F1

They aren't comparable.

You see a band once a year. If you go to see multiple bands, they are often different prices.

I go to a lot of shows for 20-30 quid. I also go to one or two major stadium shows a year for £80-£120.

Grendel at Wembley - £100
GrendHell the tribute band - £10 at the Dog and Duck

I mean the better we do the less chance of cheap tickets isnt too controversial imo its the same for any club surely?

The meltdown if we get promoted will be something to see

Im not sure how other clubs price their matches , weve traditionally done them for the whole season , this year we have changed that to every 5 matches

The £97 is a price for a concert in a 3,000 capacity venue

Seems people are a bit out of touch regarding pricing for entertainment per se

The current meltdowns arent about season tickets they are about the matchday tickets

Which will also increase clearly by a similar percentage

Thats correct , we arent a unique fanbase to moan about ticket prices though .

There is reasonable and then there is unreasonable , as in fulham recently having to get players to promote ticket sales on socials as they couldnt sell out

£105 adults
£ 55 under 18s

In an actual world class league

Like I said before, its not as if we arent selling the vast majority of matchday tickets.

No i agree obviously he can justify it if they sell from a business stand point .. what about if the home end sells but the away end doesnt ? Still too expensive then surely

Well, I’m hoping we stay up…in which case I’ll expect them to be clawing my free season back anyway. I think the prices will be according to the block/ premium seating. Which seems fair as I’m in my designated cheaper ticket area. £500 up to £800 for blocks 19/20/21. They could adopt a strategy whereby they price people away from those seats and charge high prices per game.

He's getting dogs abuse.

He says he knows we go to 23 games a season as season ticket holders. He’s got some front to even compare this with other sports/ concerts etc. They are generally limited to one show anyway. BTW. I don’t know of many people who’d watch The Enemy on 23 occasions in 9 Months. Apples and pears.

Bit different though. Championship has nowhere near the same revenue. Its almost comparing apples to Oranges, and getting pissed at King for something Fulham are doing.

Just saying everybody sees reasonable differently .. literally nobody but our fans seem to be backing our prices

My biggest gripe is the kids matchday tickets , we could probably overlook the adult prices

Unfortunately we do not have the luxury of parachute payments so if we want to compete consistently we have to do things like this.
