Wouldn’t be surprised to see the Franchise back at the stadium next season now.

Jeez, SISU are really bad at this court stuff. Maybe they need to find another strategy...

How would it be viable? There crowds would be even smaller than they are now?

But it is, a lack of knowledge, talks with administrators and funding so it’s completely their fault if they really wanted it

I’d like to know where they’re getting their funding from, especially considering that MA was in talks with them before - it’s more likely than him being involved with us at this stage.

I still want to know how the Darlington stadium survives on Rugby at an even lower level, mind you.

Oh Doug…

I wonder what time the next poorly worded statement will be released by the Club, citing their disappointment and that they’re exploring their ‘options’

Is this now a cue for sisu to get back to their real hobby, endless court appeals that go nowhere?

King said he was committed to the football club regardless of whether he got the stadium. If he sticks to that, all well and good because with his input we still should be in a financially better place than before.

And if he now does a u-turn, it suggests he’s untrustworthy and we’ve dodged a bullet.

Spot on. Now the real truth comes out.

There's nothing stopping us offering to buy the stadium off MA of course, or indeed of MA offering to buy the club.

Personally, I suspect the latter is more likely and that King isn't quite for real.

Gut feel, no evidence, I'm not itk, but the timing of King's bid is remarkable and the obvious overlaps with SISU concerning.

We should get a statement from King /club pretty quickly I think. It's not as though this was unexpected.

Just too late to the party.

As I said elsewhere, critical points of divergence were missed such as open bidding deadline.

Today we were told by DK that Joy didn’t have the resources. It makes sense that she just could get her ducks lined up and has missed the boat.

That’s that then, Ashley isn’t just going to step aside or sell it. Only way we get reunited with the stadium now is if Ashley purchases the club.

this is it. More than likely Ashley who has the credentials and money goes after ccfc and gets it. Nothing left for sisu now

I honestly hope he does...
Surely now, the best hope for the club, rather than possibly being at loggerheads with new landlords, is to see what Ashley has to say...
