They kicked off the last 2 years and still sold out if I recall? They’ll always have 2.5k diehards as do most clubs at this levelThere hasn't been a £45 game yet. Birmingham will sell well because of the general hype and lots of people work with their fans creating a bit of a rivalry.
West Brom doesn't have much of that. I don't think anyone considers them a rival.
West Brom fans are a lot more vocal about their anger towards the prices. They will have some form of boycott.

Things do go up and £8 really won't make or break the day, it's the principle and the precedent it sets. £37 was already too much and the kids prices are scandalous. They boycotted 2 seasons ago and only had about 1600 there.
45/46 quid is a big difference to the £37/38 last season.
He's charging our fans £45 for a game against West Brom which is on sky at 12:30.

Because we've introduced this category A+ for about 3 or 4 games, it's almost like the 7 games at £37 are acceptable, when they really aren't.
Ask him about that then, not his opinion on what other fans think of him
Why would he care about the opinion of a bunch of gormless brummies? It should be framed from our own fans point of view if the question is to be asked.I really like Doug but he's clearly got a sizeable ego. I'm sure widespread negativity by others will add to that of the moans from his own supporters.
I'm not certain, but I'm sure it's the most expansive away ticket in the division (making it the most expensive away ticket in England currently).
Unfortunately we'll hear the same old 'We need to try and compete with the rich clubs in the division'.
Fair play, even if they decide on only 1 of them then it‘s extra revenue for the club, I’ve asked why can’t the lounges stay open longer than an hour after the game, we have to go and spend it somewhere else ? all adds up over a season,View attachment 45923
Ok, on the small chance someone might pick up on it here, I'll take a chance and post it then then run for cover before the inevitable pile on. As I said in a DM to someone on here, the one I left off that I'd really go for would be to get rid of Ticketmaster. I've removed the personal contact details so I don't get spammed![]()
Hopefully the lounges now can. When we had the lease, it was only for something like 5 or 6 hours, so would've had an official time to vacate. Be interesting to see any small changes like that.Fair play, even if they decide on only 1 of them then it‘s extra revenue for the club, I’ve asked why can’t the lounges stay open longer than an hour after the game, we have to go and spend it somewhere else ? all adds up over a season,

Fans of other clubs (possible exception of Charlton) did nothing to help us at our lowest point.
We don’t owe anyone anything.

He isn't going to care what anyone thinks if the tickets are sold, that is the be all and end of it.Because it's not just Brummies. It's widely been criticised.
The original point was that it's worth adding that to a question about the ticket prices. It's not just annoying our own fans.
People too hung up on the team the opinion holder supports. They’re football fans just like us. What will be funny is those condoning the horrific prices will be very quick to complain when BCFC reciprocate.

They'd have to charge their home fans the same so it's up to them if they wish to do so.People too hung up on the team the opinion holder supports. They’re football fans just like us. What will be funny is those condoning the horrific prices will be very quick to complain when BCFC reciprocate.
It's just a bunch of social media weirdos jumping on things. I have no interest on the opinion of the fans of any other club, gormless brummies or otherwise.Exactly. That's why it's important that it's a collective condemnation.
We've been criticised by many. It will continue as we charge West Brom, Leicester and potentially the likes of Wrexham for the final home game the same price. It's not a good look really, even if Doug or our own fans don't care.
We may not get charged £45 for away games, but we'll be category A at many places.
When Blues fans are saying "we owe them", its exactly the pointThat's not the point.
if we are both doing well as expected they'll sell really well.I'm not sure they will be sold for West Brom if I'm honest.

Like I said, what did all these other fans do to help us when we needed them?

Ask it from a home fan point of view or not at all. He really won't care about junk posts on X I can assure you.
