Probably adding 2+2 and getting 5, but the comments about spending money in the club and nowhere else felt like a big of a dig at somewhere. Perhaps Dhillons?
I don’t think it was a dig at Dillon’s or anybody in particular. People have their pre match rituals for all sorts of reasons, for many that includes a drink at a pub or club, some near the ground and some not.
It is not rocket science for King to be asking now the stadium is ours and we benefit from the food and beverage money; how can we encourage fans to spend that money with us? Because that money benefits the stadium, the club, the team and ultimately the fans. The stadium is now ours but we won’t have paid for it yet, so pre and post match spend is important to the club.
