His measured and clear approach gives me a lot of confidence he will see us promoted in the medium term.

I would have liked a question about whether Doug see himself as continuing his ownership of the club after promotion and whether there any plans to bring in external investment.

Coventry Telegraph only mentioned the transfer window part of the Q and A I suspect they will be dining out on this video for weeks.

Who seriously would travel to the Arena to watch something most of us can watch in our own front rooms? Most of our support don’t live next door to the ground.

Clearly wanted to reiterate the point about revenue - which is fair enough

I personally prefer Dhillon's pre-matchbut will start going to the Fan Village now that we own it. Think it is important as fans we support the club where we can

Think using the Exhibition Hall or a big gazebo (remember Accrington doing this well) is a good idea. When it is raining or freezing in winter people will not want to drink in the Fan Village/the concourse

That's a good question, why didn't you post it?

It sounds a bit like the relationship with Dhillons has cooled a bit. I wouldn't be surprised if the place at the Butts gets sold.

Didn't they do that anyway? Thought we'd always reduced the prices for the first hour after doors.

if that's all it is he's made himself look a bit of a twat tbh. you can't give a big speech about come and drink here, we've put all the prices down and then it only be before 1:30!

Based on what?

The Tavern is doing better than it's early days. It's always busy when I go in. Used to be empty.

I’d imagine king would be non committal. One he won’t want to sound presumptuous about us getting promotion. Also if he says he’d be interested in external investment might look desperate/weaken negotiating position. Better to sit tight and see what comes our way. Investors know where to find him

They'd have to gate or corden off the Fan Zone, not allow alcohol to leave that area. And then apply for restrictions of public drinking outside that corden. More trouble than it's worth.

Thats more like it. Now they just need to employ people that are capable of serving at more than a snails pace and we'll be in business!

Just shows what a ridiculous mark up it must have been.

Wouldn't supprise me if they brought in restrictions on match days. I wouldn't of thought it would be that hard to do

I don't think persuading our safety group to put more restrictions on anything would be too hard.

Just said that to my mate. Get rid of old stock before getting a few new brands in.
Looking forward to it, but it’s mad really.
